John Mayer - Battle Studies
« on: December 10, 2009, 11:36:31 AM »
I've been waiting for this album for a while now and I finally have it! I love the simplicity of the new songs. He still has it. Those melodies are just too darn catchy. "Perfectly Lonely" is my current LSS. It reminds me of "Waiting for the world to change". His rendition of "Crossroads" is funky and the solo fits well.

What do you guys think??

Continuum still remains as his best album... at least for me it does.  There are some good songs here, pero I think there's just way too much fillers and not enough singles on the album.

I do agree with you however on, Perfectly Lonely... nice feel good senti track. Also, Friends, Lovers or Nothing gets a few points from me.  :-)
