you know people can be very passionate about their work, your accusation of stealing music from the internet is seen as an insult not only to the integrity of the musican/artist but also to the people here in this forum. why don't you post that said " music" you downloaded in Limewire and the people in this forum  be the judge to verify if indeed there was stealing of other people's music. you are quick to pass judgment and ridicule other people's work. as a passive/active participant in the recording process, i have seen them ( sessionist) labor over the musical piece over and over again just to get that sound and melody that the composer has envisioned in his head. i think you have to read the FORUM RULES AND REGULATIONS before you post something in here..

That comment is uncalled for.  Baldo has been recording professional American musicians in his home recording studio basement for the past several months. After  laboring for so long, Baldo just recently finished recording a whole album for his Caucasian neighbor. He is just about to master the tracks that's why (if you read the other threads) he's looking into buying  an Apogee Rosetta and Genelec speakers.  Actually, I have been invited several times to attend his sessions but have had no time. However, I have heard some of his recordings even before he posted them here.

Xtrarice - you seem to be an expert in this field. Maybe you should also post your recordings for us to listen.
From reading other threads you posted, marami ka nang naasar dito sa Philmusic kahit noob ka palang.http://talk.philmusic.com/board/index.php/topic,91901.msg1368266.html#msg1368266

kundiman guitar was nice! it's like the classic guitar instrumentals that can only be heard in Filipino AM radio with a touch of modern recording technology. :-D

Baldo, Rosetta ka na pala? congrats:) maganda yan na investment. just make sure to get a good master clock as well. I can vouch (and recommend two that I've used and currently own) for the Big Ben and the Antelope OCX. Gusto ko ang Big Ben pero it has been getting long in the tooth. After 6 months with the OCX, I prefer it. I don't do video stuff as much anymore but i understand that they just came out with the 10M and a video optimized OCX-V which are very nice.

i don't know about that pero they are good monitors and they really stand out for mixing jazz, downtempo and ambient IDM and acoustic material which has been my main bread and butter these days. i have genelecs too which I have had for close to 5 years now and they are an excellent choice for well rounded monitors talaga. i had the ADAM S4Vs on loan for mixing and I really liked them so I would like to get a set eventually down the line. i've been busy with projects but i check the posts on here every so often to see what has been going on with the crew. it is good to see that everyone is busy and productive as always:) congrats again!

naka 20/20 ka ba? yeah, i retired mine a couple of years back as well and replaced them with the newer version ASP8s which are pretty good improvements of the Events, IMO. i find them great for rock and dance genres but I still rely on my ADAM A7s and Genelecs for more subtle material. keep me updated, pare.

according to the chain's order:
amps:

Fender Sidekick Reverb

mics:

Shure C606

meron akong 4 pieces niyan. gamit ko sa crash, ride, first tom, and hihats
yung pinaka-unang piraso niyan nabili ko 4 years ago. nanalo yung band namin sa band contest, may 3k na premyo. sabi namin yung 1k pambili ng mic. mula nun, nainlove ako sa disenteng quality niya chka mababang presyo.

Shure PG48

Samson CO1u large diaphragm Mic

Galing Audiophile. USB mic binili ko kasi wala ako mixer. at wala ako pre-amp. wala din ako stand-alone phantom power. kaya yung pinaka-intelligent na mic nalang ang binili ko. though some of you can attest that this is not the best.. it serves the purpose well. gamit ko sa kick drum, vocals, at bass amp. ayaw ko sana gumasta pero habang tumatagal napapansin ko ang kakulangan ng mga dynamic mics ko.

SoundCard:

Bheringer HMP1000 - Galing Stage point. 1500 daw. tinawaran ko naging 1000
Behringer Boy ako kasi... mura!!!

mixer-less ako

At lahat ng yan ganito ang tunog:

 http://www.imeem.com/people/kbfzdqQ/music/
Band po yan ng pinsan ko.  :-D

ayan. whew! nagpost na ako...

sabi nga ni Sir MarvinQ...

MASTERS lang ang HINDI magpopost dito!
