bibili talaga ako....you know why?...

piracy is stealing from those who deserve all the credit..

make your own music, copy it as much as you want and sell it,hindi gawa ng iba...

ayaw ko mapabilang sa mga thief...

sabihin mo everybody downloads naman diba? in that case everyone is a thief (with the exception of itunes, legal parin yun)

remember that woman in the news who was sued for downloading tons of stuff in kazaa...and they made her pay for it

pasensya na po pero if you think about it...its true...

kung ayaw mo rin mapabilang dun,buy legal music and show your support...kahit copyahin mo yung songs off the cd and make it into mp3s,as long as you dont share it...legal ka parin because you bought the cd

i still believe in buying something that is tangible. and i still beleive in supporting the artist. if we all give in to all the [gooey brown stuff]...wala na tayong mapapakinggang matino in the near future

I must admit, I kinda limit my CD purchase to those albums/artists that I really like nowadays.
Fender HWY1 Texas Tele, Polytune, Chi Wah Wah, Musket, Boiling Point, Fetto, FD2, Small Clone, Echo Park, DMM, Diamond Trem, JamMan Solo, Marshall 2x75w

#1 reason why: as was previously mentioned, the sound quality of mp3s doesn't compare to CDs / vinyl.

#2 reason why: As a gigging musician, I know I wouldn't want my own music to be pirated, whether physically or conceptually.

#3 reason why: Holding something tangible gives me a different feeling.

Would I still download mp3s? Yes, mostly for experimenting with unknown artists/genres. Would I buy their CDs/vinyl if after listening to their mp3s I like what I hear? A resounding YES.

its good to know that many people still buy cds..kasi di ba sabi nila in 5 years daw extinct na ang cds...but i think this will not happen...

it depends eh..

i'd DL a couple of songs, kapag nagustuhan ko yung artist, sugod agad ako sa mga stores.

of course id get original CDs from artists i love (nothing beats looking at good inlay covers and lyrics, assuming they are still around since i notice walang lyrics mga sleeves nowadays) ... pero yung tipong one-hit wonder or yung mga naririnig mo lang sa radyo na "medyo ok" ... DL and forget na *lol*

If you do a little further research, the "basag sound" is primarily caused by its ultra-compressed mastering. Read some info about "Loudness War".

Another thing: have you already encountered FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) file format?

well, i HATE  the "basag sound " so i would rather spend MY MONEY on CDs rather than read about "Loudness_war"

and by the way, all my AVRIL downloads ( coz i dont want my AVRIL CDS to be scratched ) are in FLAC format...bwahaha
