Pedal Cosmetics/Construction? Does it Matter?

a lot of pedals out there are pretty much the same, aside from their price range. but do their construction or "cosmetics" matter when choosing one?

i just need some inputs here cause i'm really lookin' at some pedals that offers some standard functions but really awesomely cute. (pasensya na ang gay)

i know it doesn't relate to anything useful about tone, but y'know, just for some ocular taste, i know some of here has some opinion about this

isang dahilan ay ang "Resale Value". sa economics may tinatawag na "depreciation", at malaki ang factor ng "cosmetics" ng isang bagay.

yup in a way. construction is more important!!! so the materials or electronics inside would not be damaged or what.

cosmetics..yup..just for resale..but it doesn't that matter for someone like me as long as the tone is as solid as it was made for.

I agree, meron kasi yung iba itsurang madaling masira.

Para sa akin yung mga pedals na masarap apakan yung Morley, parang tangke tsaka yung Amptweaker parang pang-nuclear holocaust

If by construction you mean the pedal is very reliable and will last me a long time, sure. i think that's extremely important.

Cosmetics - in a way, yeah also. If I pay a lot for a pedal, I at least expect a neat paintjob/neat wiring.

yes! neat paint job at least, i really don't bother lookin for a gigantor pedal like soldano gto, though i can find so many clones out there, but it must have at least a neat paint job thing.

this is not about the tone, but errr, that amptweakers and rotovibe are really cute, it's so cute i'm about to pull some dough again

Sa akin ok lahat magkaka-match, black and gray ang kulay ng pedals... pero may naiba! yung green! hahaha Bad Monkey, pero I can't let go of it... dun ko lang nahahanap ang overdrive tone na gusto ko. So I have to live with it... green na kung green basta gusto ko tone ko.
