I have been looking for a Hercules Tab Grab for a while now.  Malilimutin kasi ako sa chords pag kumakanta so kailangan ko ng kodigo pag naggigitara habang kumakanta.  So, every other week, tumatawag ako sa JB branches para magtanong kung may stocks na sila ng Tab Grab.  2 or 3 branches na yung natatawagan ko, puro walang stock.  Finally, nung sa JB Glorietta ako tumawag, MERON DAW!!! 

So, nagmamadali akong pumunta from my office  in Pasay.  Pagdating ko sa JB Glorietta, sobrang excited pa ako kasi ang tagal ko nang naghahanp ng item na yan.  Pucha, WALA NAMAN PALANG STOCKS!!!!!

Hassle to, man! Tindi pa man din ng trapik from Pasay to Makati any time, any day.

My officemate reserved a Gibby Classic Custom White  from Crescendo's Black Friday Sale tapos the day he was gonna buy it they sold it to someone else. Akala nila sya daw. O dba. Beri gud.

Ouch! I could only imagine the anxiety of finally getting your hands on the one you're gassing for tapos malalaman mong naibenta sa iba! Sh*t!

audiophile MCS and audiophile festival, i had great experiences with them recently. specially sa festival. the guy there is very accomodating and honest. I asked about the cables they are selling kasi wala na klotz. he told me to just wait and buy the klotz instead of the one they have in stock. whew. minsan ka lang makakaranas ng ganun na hindi hardsell.

The Good:
May gusto ako bilhing Ibanez. After tumawag/pumunta sa ilang branches ng audiophile, lahat walang stock at walang clear na sagot kung kailan magkakaroon. So next option, dumayo na sa mas malalayong branches. Isang weekend, nagkataong nasa MOA kami ni GF, sumilip ako sa Audiophile. Meron sila nung hinahanap ko, kaso 1 nalang at yun pang ayokong kulay (pasensya, choosy eh. haha). May isang kuyang longhair na salesperson sa audiophile ang kumuha ng number ko. Papaorder daw siya nung hinahanap ko, makukuha ko daw within a week.
Dun sa week ng paghihintay, naisip ko bumili nadin ng practice amp. Nagsearch ako sa net, tapos kinukulit sa text si kuyang longhair sa audiophile, kung may stock, kung magkano. Minsan nga iniisip ko baka masyado na nakukulitan, baka sungitan na ko pagpickup ko. haha
After 1 week, nakuha ko na yung gitara at amp. Sinasagot pa lahat ng tanong ko habang nagtetesting, walang bahid ng sungit. Salamat kuyang longhair! (di ko nalaman pangalan. haha). Very accommodating sa customers.

The Bad:
Sa JB Glorietta. May salesperson na naggigitara. Ganto na mukha niya habang naggigitara:  haha. siguro dahil may mga customers na pinapanood na siya.
Natuwa ako sa tone nya. May tinanong lang ako tungkol sa amp (orange na tube amp gamit nya noon). Biglang naging ganto mukha:  , sabay sagot ng masungit na "oo"

I went to LYRIC Fairview Terraces to buy stereo jacks and very accomodating/approachable yung sales person nila yung payat na guy also dun sa Market Market.

Nakita ko tong thread na to so might as well share my expreince hehe
it was jan 6 a tuesday (cant forget the date cause it's my girlfriends birthday) and we were in cubao. Well we were waiting for a friend of ours so we decided to walk around. Of course we went to the music stores in ali mall hehe. Tapos sa InTune music store i saw a big sale sign so we went in and i saw this bugera amp (yung matchless amp na copy forgot the exact model). I was checking it out and the guy there approached me. Sabi niya "yan sir naka sale yan". So ako naman nagtanong magkano. Then the guy said with a smile on his face hahaha "12k na lang sir". At first di ako naniwala so sinigurado ko i asked him again then i asked him how much it was before. He confirmed then he told me its original price. So ako naman super excited muntik ko ng bilin but then birthday nga ni boss so ayaw ko naman ako ang masaya on her day haha. So i told her na babalikan ko na lang, she said kunin mo na ngayon baka mawala pa. Pero ofcourse i didnt  heheh. So i asked the guy hanggang kelan yung sale. He told me its on sale until jan 18 so ayun we went out of the store and met with our friends.
I cant stop thinking about the amp siyempre happy kid. Haha though hindi high end yung amp but still for 12k its a score. Over the week i read reviews and watched videos of the amp. So as the days go by mas naeexcite ako for the weekend kasi mababalikan ko na. Then came saturday jan 10 hahaha after ng ensayo i asked my bandmates to come with me para matulungan mag buhat. Pag dating namin dun siyempre sobrang excited nauuna pa ko sa kanila maglakad haha nakita ko na uli yung amp then the same game guy approached me still with a smile on his sabi " yan sir naka sale". Ofcoarse sobrang saya ko i said i want to try it out first and kunyari ko siya pinag handaan i asked him "boss magkano nga uli to?". Still with a smile on his face ... "54k sir sale price". Nagulat ako ng soobra haha. Then i said "kelan natapos yung sale." Sabi niya natapos yung sale nung jan 1. So ofcourse disappointed mejo nagagalit na ako sabi ko "kausap lang kita nung tuesday sabi mo 12k sinugurado ko pa then sinigurado mo din you checked your log book or something kung yun yung price then you confirmed again yes sir 12k." Sabi niya uhhhhhhhh di daw kaya ni ma'am eh hehehe. Then i asked him kung totoo ba yung price na sinabi niya sakin same response .... uhhhhhhh... but i kept my cool heheh and told him na last time i was here he qouted me a different  price and date. And the big sale sign is still there by the way just to add. Hehehe. So ayun lesson learned nothing is too good to be true. Siyempre kantiaw abot ko sa mga kasama ko napamiryenda ko pa tuloy ng di oras.

but...for gear and guitars...it just not meant to be...there will be more better and great deals ahead..

I asked for the price nung item and he checked his price list right away---

ok na sana eh, kaya lang bahista po ako at gusto ko din sana mag testing ng bass, so tinanong ko yung guy kung pwede mag test ng bass... eto ang sagot akin nung guy... verbatim:

"ai sir, hindi pwede... titignan nyo lang"     

    basag ang mundo ko           naawa ako sa sarili ko---    gusto ko lumubog sa kinatatayuan ko


take note... I was wearing pambahay clothes but I had money with me---    sa lungkot ko, I ended up getting my item from Makati square branch--- dun narin ako nagsumbong sa management--- nag post din ako ng message of dismay sa FB page ng Audiophile Robinsons Otis... nag message naman yung isang branch manager (or head sumthin)   sa akin regarding the matter, and sabi nya sa akin eh day off daw nung GUY... so hindi pa nya nakausap


Wala po ako masabi sa IBANG audiophile branches kasi ang ganda ng service nila... kaya lang eh hindi ko alam kung may respeto pa ako matira sa sarili ko if I set foot in that particular branch again...

Hardcore yan ah. Tumawag ka sa branch na yun at hanapin mo yung Manager or better yet sa head office. Di nila pinapalampas ang mga ganyan.

There's this guy named Eric I think manager siya and the other manager ma'm che They let me hangout and stay in the store sometimes. Tapos I bring them food and stuff parang barkada.

When I need stuff they always suggest the best Items for guitar care, gear and etc.

sa lyric festi medyo masama experience ko.. nagtatanong ako about sa tokai telecaster.. ang taas ng boses sumagot galit agad

Pwede ba kahit yung item hindi guitar related? Hindi rin naman ako nabwiset talaga dun sa staff nun sa TMS Cubao, honest mistake naman din kasi. Pero nag check ako one time over the phone kung may stock nung item na bibilhin ko, sabi daw, ok, dinouble check ko pa kung anong kulay ang meron, tapos pinareserve ko na.

So with a fairly thick wad of cash (tig-500 kasi salamat ATM), nagbus ako galing ortigas papuntang cubao tapos pagdating dun sabi ko kukunin ko na yung item na pinareserve ko. Si kuya naman, kinuha yung box sa shelf, tapos nung nahawakan na nya, yung mukha nya from  naging  tapos wala syang imik sabi sakin after a minute sir sandali lang. Apparently, yung box walang laman! Di naman masama loob ko sa kanya, tsaka dun sa other staff na sabi nag inventory check sya that same day prior to me going there (nag confirm ako bago pumunta in case may ibang buyer na kumuha nung "last stock") na sabi naman nya na confirmed wala palang stock.

Bad experience lang kasi sayang yung lunchtime ko sana pinangkain ko na lang ng tuna pie, tsaka maiiwasan sana kung nakapag-usap yung dalawang staff. Tsaka nakakapraning yung may 17K sa bulsa tapos magbus ka pa eh. 

Pero ayos pa rin TMS Cubao, mababait sila at masaya kausap
