eto po setup ko sa soundclip:
Washburn lyon series (HB-S-HB)-> boston hm-100 (stock)-> rage bass amp (not sure kung ilang watts)

Pedal settings: high = 2:00, Low= 4:00, MidFreq=10:00,
                      Mid= 7:00, Dist=full
Amp settings: Treble=9:00, mid=7:00, bass=9:00
Recorder: creative nano mp3 player.hehe

I also have a digitech death metal kaso pinag lalaruan ko pa yung settings.. mashadong matapang eh.hehe i'll try to post nalang din next time kung nakuha ko na gusto kong timpla. :-D

bass amp gamit mo?
cge magpopost din ako ng video clip with the same settings.

+1000. If your going for low tunigs (Drop C, A etc...) recommended ko the heavier gauge ng string the better para tight pa din ang sound. try nyo yung Powerslinky sa ernieball or better yet yung .50-54 daddarios.hehe great sya for rythm work. :-D

Sir's how about Tubescreamer boosting Metal Core? Ano output mo?

Im also into Metallica old sounds, pero mas trip ko Slayer ( Tuned Half step down ) kase mas makapal tunog. Guitar----Keeley DS-1------Metal Core-----GE-7-------Laney amp; eto lang kaya ko sa setup. Do I have to kick the DS1 out? Maybe replace it with a tube screamer?

@mam bonzay

what ayofish meant was you buy a tubescreamer pedal pang boost sa
metal zone(MT2)
tapos papa modify mo yung metalzone ke sir jack bauer for 800
thats the keeley mode...
and metallica??
old or new??
kase mahirap naman if you want their sound talaga
pero mt2 keeley mode with tubescreamer na bad monkey for boost is good

just testing my epiphone gothic les paul and my stock boss metal zone. sorry sa weird noise, that's coming from my webcam. i dunno what the hell's wrong with it. pero wala namang clipping.. so.. yun. haha.

setup ko is:
epi gothic lp >> mt2 >> rage amp na 15 watts

pinang record ko yung a4tech webcam mic. hehe. sorry wala akong ibang pang record. sensya na.

my mt2 eq settings are:
mids: full
low: 2 oclock
high: 4 oclock
dist: 12 oclock
level: 10 oclock

amp eq and volume at 12 oclock.

guitar stock bridge pup used.. with tone and volume at 10. standard tuning.

here's another test. haha. neck pickup naman at konting pabarya baryang nota. haha. sorry for my playing, noodling lang naman, so pasensyahan niyo na :)

video link:

this time, yung mt2 settings are:
mids: full
low: 2 oclock
high: 4 oclock
dist: 8.5-9 oclock
level: 11 oclock

basically, the mt2 settings are the same except for the gain, which i backed off a bit. medyo manipis ang tunog sa 2 kong videos, pero hindi ganyan yung tunog dito, siguro na rin kasi nagkakaron ng decay sa quality pag rinerecord gamit ang webcam.

amp eq and vol are still at 12 oclock.

guitar stock neck pickup used, volume and tone at 10. standard tuning pa rin.

PS. HOY TIM! ikaw ang magpost diyan! DAYA MO! parequest ng 3 les paul, neck at tone with rhythm and lead settings sa board mo. haha! long time!! :)

wala akong pang-record ngayon hahaha! pag may gamit na pang-record gawa ako next time. :-D
