Magandang metronome yung Boss DB-90 Dr.Beat Metronome.. Halos lahat ng pro musician yan ang ginagamit, lalo na ng mga drummer at percussionist.. Kung di ako nagkakamali mga nasa 8k yung mga ganyan.. Pinag-iipunan ko rin yan eh :lol:

@TOPIC:

Eto di nalalaos, yung mentality na "SPEED OVER SKILL" sa kahit sinong drummer (on non drummer)...

1. Not having the patience to learn rudiments. Gusto nila drum set na kaagad.
-i just play drum for fun. not to be too professional. pero there will be the time fo this  :lol:

2. Not practicing with a metronome.
-we are not friends. sorry  :-D

3. Not using ear protection
- one time i played so loud. kasi tuwang tuwa ako sa tunog nung crash. kaya hardcore crashing! after ng 3 mins lumabo pandinig ko sandali. haha!

guilty of these. :-P

mistake din po ba kapag... di ka pa pro sa single peds pero habang pinapractice mo sinasabay mo na ung kaliwa to prepare for double peds?

best to hit the cymbal where it would sound best and effective, as cliche as it may sound. here's an illustration as to where to best hit a cymbal depending on the sound your after:

yung parang headphones pala na suot ni vic ay isolation earphones. as the name states, it isolates any unecessary noise giving the player a clearer sound perspective PLUS hindi ka pa mabibingi since it acts as your hearing protection from unecessary noise. certain models come with audio capabilities na pwede mo isaksak sa metronome to maintain proper timing while playing. :wink:
