Which Usb interface for my laptop?

Hi im a newbie on recording and my main point s juz to record my basslines on a drum track. Later on add my guitarist riffs. All effects used for d guitar n bass are analog n actual pedal. I also hav a sansamp vt bass to be used as preamp n amp modulation. So im really hoping dat der wont be latency issues

Here r d specs of my asus laptop
Intel core i5
2 gig ddr3 ram
350gig hdd
Windows 7 pro edition

I hav 3 options ryt now - lexicon alpha desktop recording vs maudio vs line6 toneport

Wat do u think s best for my needs dats best suited to my laptop resources?

i agree... but check out first if the toneport is compatible with Windows7.

presonus audiobox. . ., 2 channels (combo XLR or PL) i think about 6k-7k ang price range
