need help lang, i bought an SG copy...
im in a metal band and forming a Beatles tribute band..
ano po ba ang magandang ipalit na pick-ups?
and in case magpapalit ako ng effex, ano po ba ang fit sa SG? (im currently using zoom gfx-1)

Tulo laway ko sa Gold Standard ni Papa Mark.

Kumuha ako ng Korean guinea pig para pag experimentuhan natatakot kasi ako galawin yung Gibby ko,
pero pinagiisipan ko din kasi parang ang laki ng gagastusin ko kaya for sale nadin siya haha

have you guys seen the new standard sa gibson site? they've gone back to the small pickguard! and real rosewood fretboards vs the baked maple fretboard on the SG Standard Limited

and it looks like the 61ri neck profile has replaced the beefier rounded profile of the old batwing SG standard. so its like they've taken the 61ri, gave it the old standard's smaller headstock and called it a the new standard. nice.

wish they'd kept the thicker standard neck though. the 60s slim profile neck, which feels nice on an LP, feels flimsy on an SG.

next time bumalik ako dalhin ko yung SG. i can remember if one with baked maple sounded any different from on with rosewood.

O nga, let's do it! I think this one sounds bright and punchy. Pero I think the gold paint sounds different

By the way, just saw your les pauls for sale. Ang gaganda! Can I have the pickup covers? haha

Saw the 2013 as well. I was really gassing for a '61 before I bought the gold one. Pero it's cured na, no longing for the small pickguard anymore. But the 2013 SGs looks really good and I like the specs.

The first time I actually held an SG was at Mark's place. That gold SG was something! Instant AC/DC agad ang tugtog.

nasubukan mo with the goldea classic 20? ganda nung combination na yun. for blues, i think its better than the classic 20 and a tele combo.
