sir may yamaha sg ako na 1972 pa. binigay sakin to ng erpat ko. gusto ko lang malaman kung anong klaseng sg to at kung ano ang monetary value nito. di ko to binibenta dahil may sentimental value sakin to.

check my post for the pics. nabura na serial # at yung decal. pinalitan ko tuners pero nasakin parin yung orig.

anyway, ive ordered the epiphone g 400 deluxe which has a flamed maple top with a vintage sunburst finish!!!! yeah!!! can't wait for it to arrive... para makajoin na rin dito sa club na to...

Its an Epi YEC G400 Limited Edition Epiphone Custom Shop.
Neck heavy nga sya, but I think masasanay din ako eventually.

Made some minor cosmetic tweaks to make it look closer to the original.
Changed the pup selector switch to cream. Changed the pick up ring screws to black.

pwede po ba sumali? here,s my Gibson sg special w/emg pups, though strat user ako talaga, sobrang naaliw ako sa sg na toh most of he time sya na gamit ko sa gigs compared sa lp mas magaan sya, and compared sa strat mas madali maabot yung mga dulong frets mas comfy though di pa talaga ako ganun kasanay gamitin sya:-D

hey SG boys! member na rin pala natin si Joey Puyat (Blue Rats). he used his 1962 (not reissue) Gibson SG kagabi sa gig and it sounded great. galeng ng feel ng SG nya, and there seemed to be some characteristics na hindi kagaya ng SG clones, including my Orville. but it still sounded like a great SG tho, especially thru his Blues Boy Deluxe and Vox AC30! it was a nasal tone that cut through like a hot knife through butter. maybe next time i'll snap a pic to post here.

matanong ko lang (para di na ako mag-research ng matagal sa google hehehe), ano ba ang fingerboard radius ng Gibson SG Special? I've read that Gibson LPs mostly have compound radii. So i was wondering what the SG's meausurements are, their current line at least.

here's mine:

2002 GIBSON SG SPECIAL FADED CHERRY

hindi stock yung pickups ko eh...nabili ko sha na naka emg 81 & emg 85 na.

i'll replace them soon with original gibson pickups.

what i like 'bout this sg is very light sha and madali tipahin. ok lang yung neck nya pero hindi sha ganun kanipis pero ok pa din sa akin.

right now, i use ernie ball 9's dito and grabe ang smooth i-play. pero i will try 10's dito next time i'll change my set of strings.

very classic ang itsura ng sg. sarap mag jam ng black sabbath songs!

this sg is a keeper na...pero pag may makukuha akong gibson sg standard saka ko siguro bebenta to.
