sir, church keyboardist me till last year dito na kasi ako dubai now.
Midi ang personal setup ko now, for personal use. pero dream ko to dati nung nag pplay pa ako for p&w.

una kong setup ---- axionm 61 pro + ipad 4 w/ garageband and sampletank
need mo lang yung camera adapter for ipad

or kung may budget ka, yung irig gamitin mo to connect controller to ipad.

nung medyo inexplore ko ang midi with my laptop
na meet ko yung    Ivory II piano and Native instruments .... ok mga piano nila bro, sampled talaga yung sounds from real pianos. yung ivory pala synthogy may gawa...
maganda samples nila... like 10 layers for each note (basta lahat ng sound, sampled.. hindi synthesized kaya realistic ang tunog)   malaki nga lang size pag save mo sa laptop mo  around 50Gb for ivory II, may iba ibang piano na yun.. Native instrument's Alicia's Key piano nasa 10gb......

I will try to check yun mga suggestion ku papasok budget ko saka kung how to manage. Lalabas kasi nito mukang ako muna ang gagastos kasi working pa yung KORGN364 sa church namin although 3 keys are dead and almost all pushpins are dead also  Indi ko basta ma-justify dahil somehow it still swak sa band (somehow maganda nman ang tugtugan) naka synth lang ako saka sa piano nman minsan lang ako mag solo. Pero i try to improve everything lalo na pag nagbackground keys ka during altar calls etc.

follow up question Sir lorrinlingcaso yung IVORY II set up nyo I assume me controller kayong gamit right is it still axionm 61?

Sir lowmid

Upon checking what you have said, I see in KORG site the software ($199) the whole suite, is that what you have telling me?
Also, checking the required specs I see that there are some interfaces needed on the laptop to use. Can you tell me that it is just direct USB to use this program + maudio controller? :)

kung malakas ang RAM ng laptop at maayos ang soundcard usually di na need ng audio interface. sa keys naman mas ok piliin mo yong merong usb port and 5hole midi out, pag may midi out pwede mo sya magamit controller sa sound module or keyboard.

yes. usb will function as midi  input and output port as well as power supply. pag usb port lang kasi dyan mo lang talaga sa laptop magagamit, pag may midi out pwede mo connect sa sound module. yong sa software tama yon.

Start from nothing! :D

Ganito po ang mangyayari.

1. I have a macbook air 1st gen & HP DV-1235DX Laptop
2. Im planning to buy a Korg Microkey 37 keys

Questions:

1.  Sabi dun sa AP, USB Port n raw ung Microkeys, so para magamit ko ung microkeys, pano po ang set up nun?

Microkeys -> Laptop , pano ung output ng sounds?

2. May quick setups ba dun sa mga program kung madali mapili, for example, kapag sa isang kanta maraming effects na ginagamit, may push button or shortcut key po ba dun?

Thanks and God Bless

Sa laptop yung output.  Gamit ka ng softsynth.

2. May quick setups ba dun sa mga program kung madali mapili, for example, kapag sa isang kanta maraming effects na ginagamit, may push button or shortcut key po ba dun?

Walang push button ang microkeys. In your case sa software ka pipili.

For more free softwares, dun sa www.kvraudio.com

Thanks and God Bless

From the keyboard, yung midi out will transmit midi signals to computers, modules, lights, anything else that accepts midi.  Yung midi in naman ng keyboards will accept midi signals naman.  For example yung mga patch settings na nasa internet, puede mo send thru sysex going to the keyboards kung may ganyang capacity keyboards mo.
