someone told me that church bands don't get that much reputation than most of the bands that are not involved in church work. well, we have to admit that. we don't have to have that high reputation. but it's okay. we still have our Lord, which was the one who gave us the talents.
kung nasali tayo sa isang band sa church natin, we should think of it as a privelage. God chose us. and from the many other talented musicians that are out there, tayo pa ang napili. and if you think that ayaw mo na tumugtog, it's okay. because you could always be replaced. pero sayang yung chance na binigay sayo ni God.
church bands send a very important message to the people out there. and since music speaks in different ways, those songs that we do could somewhat touch the hearts of other people who hear us.
finally, we should not say things like "magaling ako. ang galing ko tumugtog. ang angas pala ng tunog ko habang tumutugtog!". those things shouldn't be practiced because whenever we play, we should always think about the cross. and when we share the music to other people, we should always pray that they see the cross, not the members of the band.
dapat yan yung isipin natin, mga church drummers
