what happens if you oil up your fretboard?

Not bad cause they're cheap. They can be difficult to put on, so I wouldn't attempt an elaborate Vai type vine inlay that requires you to get close to the frets
Well, I never found them difficult to put on at all. Its stickers. What's hard about it?
On the oiling the fretboard - well, if you want to put oil on it every couple of weeks, I suppose they will fall off. I oil my fretboard once every couple of years if it needs it - these sticker thingies survive it. i'd suppose they wont stick if you oil them too often, i say dont install the stickers when freshly oiled an / or if you oil your guitar more often than needed, most likeley matangal po sya agad. playability wise, you wont feel them on your fingers.
