kaya. i'll give a similar setup close to my current pc as an example.

AMD-quad core APU proc - 4600
Gigabyte FM2 Mobo -         2500
HDD 500 Gb -                     2450
4Gb DDR3 -                        1300
Branded 450w PSU -         1700
Case -                               1100
CPU fan upgrade -              350
DVD drive -                         900

total:                                 14900

the processor has built in graphics good enough for most games today.
my actual pc has a 80Gb SSD primary storage. 8gb RAM.

The most advisable is to invest in a good audio interface with enough features to fit your recording needs. To give you an idea, my interface is just around 5K pesos but I use it for more than 2 years now. sa MTPA ka na mag-search. check Xelly's link,a lot of info there.

Puede ang stock sound card.  But not recommended.  Mag Tascam, Line6, M-Audio, Behringer pag low budget.

Second the motion. Budget for 6K pesos for an interface. Kung medyo low budget, try looking for 2nd hand in the classifieds or other selling sites in the web.

For price range references, kindly refer to this thread, http://talk.philmusic.com/index.php?topic=276332.0.

May mga certain factors ka lang naman na titignan like socket type ng processor na binili mo, things that will come integrated on the motherboard like the built-in audio, video, LAN. Kung gusto mo may USB 3.0 socket. Max RAM na kaya i-take ng board, max clockspeed ng ram, or kung ilang RAM slots, dalawa ang common, pero may ilan ding di-apat ang ram slot (pang hardcore).

Maganda kung processor muna ang titignan mo, tapos from there, step by step mo nang buuin ang PC. The higher the processing power, the faster it will complete some work (not all), like rendering, game loading time etc etc. Choice mo na nga lang kung ay going for the intel way, or amd way. May kanya kanya naman silang pro's and con's, so research ka muna. Kindly refer to this thread para sa AMD or Intel scenario. hehe http://talk.philmusic.com/index.php?topic=236860.0
