Yung B8 parang "traditional finish," hindi makintab; tapos yung B8 Pro parang "brilliant finish," makintab.

Sound wise, mas masarap sa tenga yung B8 lang. The B8 Pros are way too bright and harsh for my taste, halos walang body. Yung B8 lang saktong brightness lang.

Sa hats at china pa lang, panalo na ang B8. Super talo yung ride ng B8 Pro.

Parang ganto, in other terms of comparison:

B8:
-sound system ng normal na kotse.
-sinigang sa sampalok.
-dalandan.
-clarinet
-mango flavored marshmallow
-girlfriend
-egyptian cotton
-yellow pad

-incancescent bulb

B8 Pro:
-sound system ng jeep na puro tweeter lang.
-paksiw na bangus.
-hilaw na kalamasi
-trumpet
-warheads/yakee
-mother in law
-spandex
-intermediate pad
-batman
-LED bulb
-Marlboro Black Ice
-kawali

might be just for your taste. B8Pro does have its uses for other types of music.

the main difference is in the hammering and lathing patterns. B8Pro tends to be on the higher pitched spectrum.

The splash and large crashes do well against a band mix.

either way, i would recommend getting a SABIAN XS20 instead.

Hm, di ko alam na may brilliant finish pala ang B8. I've always thought the B8Pro was the brilliant finished version, along with different hammering and lathing.

Ok ang XS20, and miles beyond the B8/Pro sonically. pero kung medyo gipit sa pera talaga, pwede na yung Stagg brand, BUT bring a drummer with you. They're handmade so the sound is inconsistent - you can get amazing cymbals or really bad ones.

BTW, yung Omni line pala may AAX din, saw Jojo Mayer play one. Para syang HHX na may butter at bacon fat.

all i could say is they are not crashable and parang may taga meinl na pumuntang sabian,haha

ahaha. Oo nga eh. May touch ng Meinl yung model ng Sabian na yun. Dry yung tunog then tama nga yung sabi, hindi siya crashable.
