XP for Recording
7 for Entertainment

Q: Kung bumili ka ng laptop ng windows 7, hindi na ba pwedeng iDowngrade sa XP? kasi laging nageerror ung installer ko ng xp eh pwede naman sa ibang PC at Original ung installer.

ganito naexperience ko dati. i bought a laptop without OS installed. i decided to installl xp (knowing there are programs with compatibility issues) and 7 (to try it out). i had problems installing xp, and i think same as you experienced. i had BSODs but a bit of luck, i successfully installed it.

pero nagswitch na ako sa 7. mas pulido yung gawa nila.

i like windows 7 for ease of use...  i mean xp was user friendly but 7 improved on that IMHO... and i like the user account control... windows alerts you if a program wants to do this to your what or something... i like that... it's extra protection... it's like having 3 layers of condoms (lol where's the fun in that?) while having sex with the town whore.... i also like the option that you just right click your device and you can ask windows to search the web for updated drivers of that device... unlike in xp where you have to search and download it yourself...
so for me... 7 over xp...

PS: IMHO, 7 is XP on steroids....

i wonder kung sino town whore dito samin. oops! off topic. hehehe

yung windows 7 ng computer ko may security essentuials nang kasama. di na kailangan mag install ng antivirus. as far as the current situation in my computer is, hindi ko pa naman kinailangan mag reformat...

You cannot change the wallpaper and themes in Windows 7 Starter. Only Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate are allowing the users to modify the desktop.

Win 7 works great for pc that meets its requirements.

if your computer just have the minimum requirement.. better stick to XP, Win-7 will just slowdown your computer's performance

IMO Recommended:

P3, P4 , Dual Core, Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad ---> Windows XP
Dual Core??, Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7 ---> Windows 7

sa AMD di ko kabisado  :lol:

nagustuhan ko sa Windows 7 everything plug and play na lang eh kumpleto na halos lahat ng drivers.

Tried this. Kaso di sya recommended pag di supported ng hardware mismo kahit may option ang Windows 7 to install and run this. Working sya pag small and / or light apps; pag mejo mabigat na madalas crash ang nanyayari. I dunno, baka may mali lang akong ginawa or meron akong di nagawa. Pero maganda tong feature na to lalo na sa mga programs na ayaw tumakbo sa Win 7; kaso kelangan compatible sa SP3 ng Windows XP ang program na gagamitin mo within the Windows XP environment, as per Microsoft.
