My drum gear: as of now, FERNANDO... i have this for about 11 years na...

I'm a proud drummer because: i can tell what beat you are in to... i can play long hours, as in loooong... i do love cheering contests... Ü  :-D

Additional info about myself: addicted to drums. i like blues type songs and ska songs... every song for me is a challenge. never had a formal lesson... i also play guitar, keyboards, harmonica and bass...  :roll:

Formal lessons: Mar Dizon's school back in the 90's. 95? 96? can't remember, basta it was in cubao then, and the  batch mates that i  recall were Franklin Benitez, Jojo Lim, Alex Fidel and Benjie Mendez.

i would love to meet you all one day. this forum is great! its a wierd thing to say pero na eenganyo ako ulit mag drums. there comes a time kasi  na nakaka burn out din and to say "i don't care anymore" but its a cycle and i feel on the up swing. hope we can hit a few skins together. ayoooz.

I'm a proud drummer because:  I couldn't say I'm proud..it's more like I'm happy as a drummer because I can destroy a good song or bring life to a lifeless one.  and it feels good when you're bringing life.  you get goosebumps.

Additional info about myself:  KSP AND BROKE. My first love was singing, and then guitar playing.  I'm currently went back to school for my second degree.  everybody there calls me Kuya. no one's ever guessed my age right. mostly they think I'm just 25 or 26. (ayan hindi palusot)

one of my biggest regret in my drumming career was..I auditioned for Wally Gonzalez on a thurs night along with other drummers..placed on a spot sa mismong gig sa Chaquico's.  the next day, Wally sends me the entire line up. so here I go, started learning his repertoire...Nino (BJJ vox) calls and says the band is back.  since I'm more excited in playing orig songs than covers, I told Wally that Nino needs me.  Hay, I wish I didn't do that. Wally should've been exceptional.  :-(

ey toybitz! musta na!? love your kit! i got to play one of those in one of the bars in malate. galeng nyan! almost bought one when i was in hongkong. kaso d natuloy dahil ang lake dalhin at hassle e balot :D tago mo na yan! they stopped making em na!

the bar must be Unplugged. I used to teach the owner's younger brother drums.  Tas he asked me what drums his bro/owner could buy for his bar na hindi daw malakas kasi "unplugged" set up (uso k-hon at this time)...I recommended the rhythm traveler.

Wow, stop prod na pala eto. I fitted mine with really thick double ply heads (Evan Hydraulics and Rock) to make up for its shallow depth, one headed toms.

My favorite musical style/s:  metal, alternative rock

My favorite drummer/s:  donati. jeff something nalimutan ko apilyido.

My musical influence/s:  lacuna coil, within temptation. SOAD

My drum gear:  sticks, fernando snare. gibraltar intrder series DB

I'm a proud drummer because:  i play for God. at sa church ako nasanay at natuto

Additional info about myself: i see dead people.hehe, pero seryoso i do talaga. my dad who is a pator says im a clairvoyant. hmm i had a congenital heart desease my butas ung puso ko pero nawala nung 12 na ko.by some kind of miracle kc my taning na ko nun.hehe pahiya tuloy ung doktor. i'm a 2nd yr student(dapat 4th yr na kaso nag stop) sa UP college of fine arts. at I also play guitar, bass at keyboard para sa church at minsan sa banda.pati pla ukelele.hehe. drummer din kuya ko at xa nagturo sakin magdrums sa set.

i'm so happy to see that we are indeed growing....Pinoydrums is getting bigger and bigger. also, that there are alot of church drummers who are introducing themselves.
