18mA lang nga pala ang boston engineering. Nasa manual current draw: 18mA DC9v. Diba ang laman ng power supply ay katulad lang ng adapter?tama ba?

I believe pedals dont have that much current draw. nasa 30-60mA lang ata eh. Im not sure though. A BOSS PSA outs 200mA and it can power 3 pedals.

i agree...

actually, for dirt peds it's just in the 15mA+ area.
for modulation/delay pedals, it can reach up to 60mA.

so a 1A psu should be good enough already.

gtr>screamin blues>fuzz>chorus

pero dahil manageable ung set-up mo, pwede ka naman mag-experiment kung anong magandang combination dahil wala naman eksaktong rule on how to arrange them.

kung pagsasabayin mo naman dirt peds mo, i suggest gawin mong booster ung blues---meaning set mo sa 0 ung gain at max ang volume nya.  however, i haven't tried any of the mentioned (dirt) pedals so i'm just making a calculated guess on how you can do it.

lastly, for w/c output jack to use---use 'output 1'. yung 'output 2' e kung ala kang amp.,  pwede un gamitin derecho sa mixer.

if you say you're into Satriani's, then DS1 + Wah would be the basic.

Baliktad si Satriani. Wah > DS1. I prefer the opposite.

question for the experts:

if i have a preamp/DI and a reverb unit, what will be my best arrangement for the best tone:

a)  acoustic guitar - reverb unit - preamp/DI - mixer

b)  acoustic guitar - preamp/DI - reverb unit - mixer

the reverb unit is like your normal multi-effects unit.  meaning the input and the output are both 1/4 PL unbalanced.  the preamp/DI has a balanced out.
 :-)

EDIT:  i had to post this here because i'm not getting answers on the original thread i posted this in.  hopefully i will get answers here.  thanks! :-)

^I'd recommend this- acoustic>reverb>DI/preamp. If you put the reverb last on the chain, you'll end up with an unbalanced signal. It might be better to just use the mixer reverb though and take the reverb effect out of the chain. Just a suggestion. :)

this the setup that i had in mind also...but a friend told me to put the preamp/DI first before the reverb.  what's the difference?

mixer reverbs have limited capability.  i want to be more flexible in my reverb tone as much as possible.  :-)

^The preamp-then-reverb arrangement is the recommended order of effects because it better simulates an amp in a room or a hall (sound comes out of the amp, bounces in the room thus creating reverb). But in your case, i would think that it's more important to have a balanced signal than following such recommendation. Better yet, get a reverb with balanced I/O, in which case you can put it after the preamp. Or a preamp with built-in reverb. :)

ano bang possible impact pag hindi ko nasunod yung recommended setup?  will the controls in the preamp/DI and the reverb unit still work?  distinguishable parin yung change in tone pag nag-tweak?

depends sa taste o sa sound na gusto mo. i never used both dirt and dist pedals at the same time.

i doesnt matter kung anu mauna sa set up.. what sound are you looking for / you want?

it really depends sa application mo.

natutunan ko rin to dito and thru experience...

if you use them individually, it wouldn't matter w/c one goes first.
but if you cascade them, you have 2 scenarios:
1) whatever you put first in the chain (from guitar), adds gain to the
second--->gain boosting
2) whatever you put after, adds volume and "color"--->volume boosting

on #2, volume is achieved when your setting is: 0 gain, max level (on the 2nd pedal).  "color" meaning the sound is a combo of the 2 pedals.

hope this helps.   :-D

"masmaganda" can only be determined by yourself---what works for your ears and/or application.  but if i were to set this up it would be:

gtr > ds2 > bd2

reason:
given the 2 pedal setup, i intend to boost the ds2 for solos.
