nag Live View Mode ka??? i haven't tried it  ill give it a shot di ako kumportable ng Live view i always use the View Finder tapos hhntayin ko nlng result ng image ko. trial and error sakin if over expose edi bawiin hehehe in metering ko sakin in my own way plaging 3 or 4 bars na under exposed ako sometimes dipende tlga sa light condition pag mataas pa tlga araw tlgang nsa underexpose talaga para ma equal ko yung liwanag  un experience ko

for me, during LE i usually meter dun sa area na tingin ko ok yung lighting or dun sa area na focused. then i do a series of exposures, from -3, 0, +3. i check the shots. pag tingin ko meron nakong keeper shot dun ok na, pag hindi paglalaruan ko yung exposures (-2 -1 and so on). trial and error ako kumbaga. worked well for me kasi at least i have shots na pwede kong gawing hdr or single shot na ok yung exposure. steady na yung F ko (either 8 o 11 lang naman ako) at ung iso (lowest) tapos sa shutterspeed lang ako nagaadjust.

8 or 11 pla kayo nag lalaro ng aperture ako nmn 22-16 kase wla akong ND filter sa ngayon ng lens ko so as much as possible limitado light na pumapasok sa sensor ko nag oover expose kse pag nag F 8 ako at 11 :-) hinihintay ko pa Filter system ko hehe

how do you guys meter?
meter for the foreground and meter for the sky then check kung ilan stops ang difference to determine what GND to use. :)

OR!!!

If you're using a Canon, use the Live View Simulation. Sobrang convenient. :D

usually pag crop sensor, use F/8-F/11. for full-frame, F/16-F/22 yung sharpest nila :)
