This IPAD 1st gen is just a test. Siguro para malaman nila kung ano ba ang gusto ng tao sa TABLET. Steve Jobs didn't think that this will be the final product. Jobs is very smart, this IPAD criticisms are just part of a plan.

this is the a status symbol more than anything...

like a rolex. i mean, you can always buy something cheaper and it can still tell the time... you can even just use your celphone to tell th time (like i do)... but nope, you wear a Rolex, something that is impractically expensive to tell the time.

so yes, you can read the news anywhere... laptop, physical paper, etc. but when you are reading it on an Ipad ... its saying "i have nothing to do with $500, thats why i got this cute thing... it goes well with my top too. and oh, im bringing out my macbook out of the car too so i can transfer songs... and wait... somebody is texting me on my Blackberry"

status symbol. only someone loaded can buy something as impractical as this.

starting at $499 daw.. pero for sure pag release nyan dito sa pinas eh doble ang price nyan.. im very sure lagpas 40K ang Wifi Version at nasa 45k ang 3G Version..

tapos after 3 months biglang magbababa ng price.. hehehe

so for sure itong initial release ng iPad (next month) eh "beta" palang nila.. titingnan nila ang reaction ng consumers at yun ang idadagdag nila sa "updated" release ng iPad na for sure lalabas late this year.. yun na ang with "improvements" at mas "worth-buying" kesa itong initial beta testing product release..

the ipad's available for pre-order, ships on april 3 (though US market pa lang yata since when i changed the country on the apple store, nawala yung ipad sa available products, sayang, plan ko pa naman na gift to sa mom ko, she's not really into computers but madali nyang natutunan yung ipod touch ng utol ko so i figured madadalian sya sa Ipad)
