i'm on the same boat here. anybody know where else i can find accurate appraisals and a place to sell basketball cards besides the internet?

Lots of hobbyists there. They schedule gatherings for trading. Some of them bring Beckett price guides with them. Some offer minimal fee so you can access their price database online.
