a new fuzz from devi ever: the silver rose

description from devi's site:

The Silver Rose is quite simply a classic Super Fuzz and IC Big Muff design combined together with a Mixer that allows you to blend seamlessly between the two fuzz sounds, and includes a clean knob, and active bass / treble EQ knobs (that can be bypassed).

This unique design was commissioned by Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins and is now available for everyone to enjoy! :D  He wanted something classic with the ability to sound more modern... the solution was the dual EQ + ability to blend together what I believe are his two favorite fuzzes.

Made from top-quality boutique components professionally board mounted with a "soft-touch" footswitch utilizing relay switching, which makes replacing the foot switch a breeze years from now when you've put the pedal through millions of hours of good rock and roll use. :)

Powered by a standard negative tip 2.1mm 9 volt DC jack, or 9 volt battery via internal connector.

FINAL PROTOTYPE

ever since I tested Sir Turi's Devi Ever Rocket nasira na priorities ko(sa GAS)

And this pedal is what I want! :-D

Any recommendations for a fuzz pedal to get that classic fuzz sound?  My budget is within the 3000-4000 range.

the TYM fuzz munchkin

supposedly, this is the mojo of the V3 big muff that J mascis uses.

description from Jmascis.com --

The Fuzz Munchkin is a limited edition clone of J Mascis’ fuzz pedal. Reverse engineered from J’s original pedal and built at Tym guitars, these are exact clones using the exact component values and transistors as is in J’s original. Sounding somewhere between a Ramhead and a version 3 with more “clarity” this will get you closer than any other pedal on the market to the live Dinosaur Jr. sound.

The Tym Fuzz Munchkin also has the added advantage of a “bypass” switch which will give you J’s rhythm and lead sound in one pedal. It comes in a new Tym stainless steel enclosure with custom artwork designed by J Mascis and Tym guitars. Limited to 300 units worldwide and available ONLY through Tym guitars.

the story on how this pedal was produced from TYM guitars:

That's a good one. My fave fuzz at the moment is a Lovetone Big Cheese clone.

Well, are you more into si or ge?

Mjm London (I or II), Fulltone 69 and 70 (in the newer small enclosure) are good contenders in small packages. There's also the Skin Pimp Face Plant and the Basic Audio Solar Myth.

I'd suggest the sunface though (w/ sun dial and on off pot).

have you tried the fulltone 69? how does it stand against the GE sunface? cheaper alternative?

i'm also curious about this buzzmaster with 4 GE transistors. what the hell is that about?  :-D

im new to fuzz., anyone can help me about the outcome of this,

lower output pick ups "vintagey" + fuzz(fuzz face, tonebender,muff) = ?
hight output pick ups "hot" or modern + fuzz(same as above)= ?

what are the results, not necessarily better, just want to know the outcome of these combinations.
dynamics?saturation? etc.etc.:-)
