If I am not mistaken, this is a Christian or Jewish owned company. Some of its endorsers in the 80s were Contemporary Christian Hard Rock guitarists like Ty Tabor and Bob Hartman.

the quilted maple topped guitars in the photos above are also similar to Tom Anderson guitars.  maybe the price tag isn't that far off too.
