Post here your favorite hi-hats, type of music you play, where you bought them and for how much.

Favorite hats = hats you've actually used.

As for me, i've used New Beats (just for 3 minutes in a gig tho), PST5 Medium hats (current hats) and Lata Hats (care of Tunog Lata Music).

Easily, the new beats are my fav. Mahal nga lang, 15K+ sya sa RJ. Planning to get myself AAX Fusion or new beats pag gumaling na ako pagtugtog.

ako gusto ko yun 12" fernando cymbals,magaang,malambot at pwedeng iwan sa tabi ng walang kukuha,pwede rin pang luto in case mag camping kayo...

14" zildjian new beats...love the sound but dont want to buy them because everybody has them

13" sabian aax fusion hats, pinakamatagal kong hihats until i sold them last year to buy...

13" saluda mist medium hihats...i used a 14" sabian HHX and to my suprise, they sounded exactly the same for 1/3 the price by the way

checked JB.. may K custom hats pala sila, 11.5K pero mukha wala ng stock. by request na lang siguro and asa na may stock pa nga.

I'm loving my prized 14" K Custom Dark Hats. I have them for almost 4 years already. It's a versatile, dark-sounding pair. It works really well with my band's style of music.

Why prized? Because it has the blessings of Mssrs. Steve Smith and Simon Phillips... And soon, I'll have Kenny Aronoff sign it. Nobody can take these hats away from me hahaha!

I'm not really fond of bright, sharp-sounding cymbals. I prefer dark-sounding cymbals. I also like dark cymbals which can work well for contemporary, sophisticated, modern music; which is why I favor either Zildjian's K Custom line or Sabian's HHX line.

I only have 1 pair.

Sabian 13"AAX Fusion.

I love the clean, crisp sound.

If budget permits, I wanna GAS up for a 14" Stage Hats as well.

ako nagamit ko sa isang gig yung 14" K Custom Dark Hats. Sarap ng tunog. What i have pero is a 14" ZBT hats. Ok lang naman tunog. 2000 pa sya inuwi sa akin ng uncle ko as a graduation gift from college. Yun na lang ang buhay. Yung crash nya warak na, and the ride, may konting chip na yung side pero ayos pa rin tunog.
