Where can I order Pots for my JD Crybaby online na pwede mag pa ship dito sa pinas? I'm from cebu and pots are really hard to come by here, wala kaming audiophile or kahit RJ guitars dito(dati meron pero sirado na).  8)

kung wala kang mahanap na POTS (HOT POTZ)
You can use yung mga Ordinary Big BODY pots LONG SHAFT
na mabibili sa Electronics shop...
I modded mine... bypass, vocal mod, bass response
Sa wala talaga akong makita dito at ang mahal pa
$20 ata alam ko....
tignan mo yung value then yun ang bilin mo,
Ok lang kung mabili mo hindi Audio Taper
meaning "A" ang nakalagay.... ang hirap na
mag hanap dito un...
makikita mo lagi ang nakasulat ay "B"
EXample:  B100K or same as  100KB

Mas gumanda yung tunog ng wah ko...
compared to the original.
"double shot triple espresso with a black coffee chaser without the 'frying bacon sound' tone'..."

so when you moded ur wah yun lang ang pinalit mo na part, Sabi kasi sa website ng Jim Dunlop wala daw part na pwede e-substitue sa pot na yun... or are they just saying that for marketing strategy lang? sabi din ng local guitar tech ko dito na hindi din daw pwede magpalit ng kahit anong pot na basta may 100k na tatak. matanaong lang ano bang ang resulta nung pinalitan mo yung pot mo may ibang sound ba na binigay, can you maybe describe yung sound ng wah mo ngayon, compared to before? 8)

Okay, assuming that the local pots will fit, I don't think that the total tonal character will change. Just the "taper" or how the wah responds to your step. Syempre mawawala yung scratches and the other things that make you want to change the pot in the first place. Like if you replace the pot with a log taper where a linear taper is required, the "wah" action will happen near the end of the step. Pero kung sa pwede, pwede. Ok, that assumes that there is a physical "fit" ha and you can transplant the gear on the old pot to the new one.

Okay...try cedist.com, I think I saw pots for various wah pedals there. They're a wholesaler though, but they have a sister company that sells retail, just click on that link when you find it.
