Popping that Fuse

Have you ever popped a an amp fuse? perhaps by accidentally plugging a 110V into a 220 Socket? Or Some sudden power surge suddenly overwhelmed your amp while jamming.. Did it do any damage to your amp? or after replacing it your amp is there to live another day? Share us your experiences?
