if you're using the rmx 4050hd (800w at 8, 1300w at 4 ohms per channel)  just go for the c18 650el but medyo underpower kana sa 4 ohms load set-up.

Bro, tnx for the infos again.  Tumawag ako kay Xstatic a few days ago.  As of now,  they don't have displays of the P audio 18inch woofers.  Sa Music Box na lang kaya ako magpunta?  Do they have the same pricing schemes kaya?

Bro,  close pla ang Music Box pag weekends.  We plan of visiting them next week.  How's the C-18elf?  3 groups kami na plano mag-upgrade ng 18" namin.  Pinag-iisipan pa kung alin sa 4 na models ang bibilhin.  Mas type namin ang IMF HP18 since ok naman ang reviews nito at mura pa. Thanks sa images you posted pla.

The C-18elf has a larger motor using a larger magnet assembly although they (C-18elf & IMF hp18) both have 4" voice coils,  the C-18elf has better volume and punch.  I guess it's also the dual spider design of the c-18 that enables it to really pack a lot of power at longer periods.  So far the c-18 outperformed my old Fane Colossus in terms of SPL and response  . The IMFs on the other hand sounded very well on dual 18 designs.  Ang mga friends ko installed this on DIY MTL1 and MTL2 subs and the IMF sounded big in these boxes.  But don't get me wrong, even on single 18 subs the IMF performs well.  Don't be fooled by its steel stamped frame.  In fact,  some of my friends find the IMF sounded noticeably better than Neusch and TNT when it comes to defined, smooth bottom end.  The price is a winner. . .

pahabol din lang.  if namamahalan ka sa p-audio c-18elf,  ok na yung imf hp18s sa subscoop.  very versatile kasi ang imf hp18.  hindi mapili sa enclosure type.  in fact mas malaki pa nga ang winding nito sa neusch pd1850 ko dati although 4" voice coil lang ito. malaki lang ang diameter ng voice coil ng pd1850 dahil 5", pero sa winding ng coil,  parang 400watts lang kaya agad nasusunog

As far as i know we cannot compare two voice coils with the other one having a different diameter, of course the 4 inch voice coil has a higher coil winding than the 5 inch coil, the reason for the 4 inch coil having a higher winding is simply because it has to attain proper impedance with respect to ohms law.

Mga bros, nakabili na din sa wakas! 16 pcs all in all for 4 groups kami hehehe.  2 groups got SD 18el and C18 650 from ML Rapacon and the other two groups got directly from Music Box- C-18elf and IMF Hp18.  That place rocks! 

We tried the IMF and C-18elf na.  True c sir stoney na better pa din sa over-all performance ang C-18elf since it's an 800 watter as compared to the 600 watts IMF.  The IMF naman way better than T&T and crown pro1818 and 1815 in terms of sound quality.

Bro,  try the IMF Hp18 on MTL2 subs.  Perfect cla for dual18 designs.  Actually even for subscoops din ok ito lalo na kung yung amp mo is not that powerful.  Hindi kasi hard-driven ang IMF but kahit sa live band set-ups,  maaasahan!

Yes I ordered the MTL2 subs with the IMF HP18 (package na) at 45200 a pair  but I need to wait til end of the month.  Mahaba pila sa shop nila. Mostly Manila groups din ang dumadayo doon.  Iba talaga boxes built by Music Box. . . expensive when you compare with Raon prices but Raon has a different league.

yes we did before.  xstatic has a few of these pd woofers.  

for comparison sake,  'normal' to 'loud' levels,  almost the same response and output but i would give some edge to pd for more bass definition.  but from 'loud' to 'extremely loud',  the sd 18el is the clear beast  .  this is when you can clearly hear the difference between a real 1000watts from an 800watts woofer    that's why i invested on the sd 18el.
