and yung truss rod nya san gawa or binili nya? mya nabibili ba nun d2 satin?

AFAIK meron syang supplier sa sta mesa, and most of the accessories are MIK/MIC.

as for the trussrod, i believe he makes 'em out of materials, i don't know if he orders them too, just like other luthiers here in mla, they fabricate trussrods, rather than buying them from suppliers. i believe madali lang i construct un, with the right knowledge and materials, walang paltos naman siguro.

kakagaling ko lang kaninang tanghali kay mang max kasi pinagawa ko yung 3 guitars ko sa kanya. Last na pagawa ko sa kanya ng Jackson JDR94 ko noon pang 1996.
May pinakita din nga palang litrato si Mang Max kanina sa akin, medyo naging interesado ako baka maging interesado din kayo kasi kaya nya gumawa ng 7 string electric guitar. Yung mga nagtitipid ng gusto ng 7 string pwede na kayo magkaroon.

Oo nga e. Nag dala pa ulit ako dun ng mga guitar ko. Nung una 3 electric lang 3 days ago dinala ko naman yung Jimdunlop wah & Jasmine 12 string ko. Ayos gumawa si mang max.

SObrang ok si mang max... Got my hamer guitar repainted, palit floyd, etc. sobrang mura ang deal... and yes he is very down to earth...parang hindi nya negosyo yiung pag gawa ng guitar more of passion nya talaga and he wants to help out musicians...check out his custom wound pickups...ganda ng tunog...

tried out his tele na may vine inlays...lupet!

Yes this guy is the best and a very humble man. i just visited him last saturday to set up my newly 5 string bass and by just looking with the bass and trying it himself he already knows what to be adjusted. you should try it yourself to see and feel what i'm trying to say and you will also learn things from him regarding the adjustments or repairs you've asked him to do with your guitar. This guy really Rocks!!!
