Title: Electric Scooter Club
Post by: gandydancer123 on April 18, 2013, 12:19:28 PM: I prefer bikes, but laking tulong din ng electric scooters to get around..no need for registration or licences..free parking..

heres mine.. I bought this yesterday 2nd hand..bagong bago pa, di pa natatanggal mga plastic sa ilaw..from another expat here at a super bagsak price he just wanted to sell it to get a bigger ,upgraded one..! When I saw his ad, konting nego..closed deal na, kinuha ko na after office..

It was a real adventure getting it back home as he lived very far away from my place..... I had to brave the chilly spring evening and trying to find the best route back....even had to ride the ferry boat to get this across the river since I now live on the other side of the city...took it to work this morning! hahaha been biking to and fro the office for more than 4 years..its time to give my knees and joints a good rest..thanks to this baby...

Post by: gandydancer123 on April 18, 2013, 12:40:20 PM: I had an E scooter, a few years back..it was a hand me down from my boss..kinda beat up, but it was good..didint enjoy it that much because It conked out and was ripped off to buy new batteries by this shady shop..and after a few weeks the batery pack was stolen from the bike..pffft...the scooter was useless, I just abandoned it. Hopefully Ill be lucky with this one this time..

naku, pagnakita mo yung iba na pinagpilian ko, mas magaganda, vespa na vespa..or mga modern na piaggio..chinese "style" pa nga to eh..kinuha ko lang kasi type ko kulay at mura..yung isa na pinagpiliian ko, metalic orange, pero maganda body style..kaso masyadong pansinin..good price din..pero mas mura to..

dont know much about specs...power wise, medyo 25kmph lang..yata..no Umph power at all..this bike is pretty small for its class...and notice its got cranks just in case you run ou of power and would like to pedal back...I think this could go 30-40km in one charging.which is 4-8 hours yata..Im still more into the simplicity of biking..so I just got this para mapahinga naman legs ko lalo knees.....pang grocery ,grocery or midnight snack service...haha

yup halos ganun nga prices ng mga ebikes ..pang village villlage lang..di kakayanin sa kalye ng pinas ang mga ganito ...kasi di popular ang bike lanes....and sigurado pag nauso at lumaki yung following...pagkakakitaan na to ng isang govt regulating body that may require licensing and registration andfees...as usual..
