I am posting this because AVID/Digidesign says on the compatibility chart that LE 7.4.2 won't run on 10.6 and up.
FYI. I am able to mix and edit with Pro Tools LE 7.4.2 on OS X 10.6.3 I'm using an MBOX MINI interface.
This is a relief as I did not want to upgrade to PT8 (yet). I don't want to be bothered with compatibility problems with the lot of plug-ins that I have and worse, be forced to upgrade plugs for them to work on PT8.
I was also able to record a chorale last night, 6 mics total; 4 mics to 003R, 2 mics to Digimax FS via lightpipe. 48kHz/24bit. Tackled 4 songs, average 8 minutes in duration each song. No hiccups!
Sharing this for the benefit of those not sure of upgrading to PT8 but want to take advantage of 10.6's speed and other improvements.
