Turco Rust Converter is very effective in taking away rust from the metal of your kit. plus it's very affordable. pwede mo pa sya makuha sa local hardware nyo. babalik pa yung kintab ng chrome.

sorry for the OT...

Salamat Sir!  :-) It was actually a gift to me from my mom. I've been looking for this snare and good thing she was able to find it in Hong Kong, most likely Tom Lee.

14 Snares
« Reply #108 on: January 10, 2008, 04:41:59 PM »
I'm glad to say...I am able to hold on and stick to just two snares!

Both Snares are 14 inches in Diameter.

1.) Snare: 10-ply Maple Piccolo Snare (3 1/2 inch deep lacquered Maple Keller Shell with Ludwig Hardware), Ambassadors on the top (coated) and bottom (clear). I got this from Someone who had WAY to many snares...and didn't want this one to go to waste.
* My Snare of Choice

2.) I also have a Tama 4 ply Birch with an outer steel shell snare (5.5 inches deep) with Evans G1 Heads for batter and snare side...(Genera 1000?).
* I'm not crazy about that snare at all!! Massive thing! :-) I think it weighs more than my 14 tom! But lately tweaking and playing it made me like it a bit more. But I'm still going with my lighter snare.
** I'll only use this when I need something CUTTING! =o) But all complaints aside...I like it's rim click sound is better sounding than what my Piccolo gives out.

[No Pics for this one as of Yet]
It's "LEI" not "LEE"

wow. nice snares guys.

anyway, mine's not much, but it does the job. and im pretty impressed on
how this baby sounds.

REYNOLD         13   x    4      Piccolo Snare

snare side

Snare bottom

snare top

i tuned this snare drum, and it sounded better than the tama super star snare
in the studio i usually play on. it's still in all stock. what i mean is it still has it's
stock drum heads, yet, it manages to have that sound, this is the most "crackiest" snare i've ever heard besides nathan_rocks PEARL free floating snare and cymor's Renown maple. best of all, it has 12 lugs! ! !  not bad hmm

i got it for less than 2,000

:)
hahaha ako binibiyak ko muna yung wetpaks para makita kung may yellow thingy hahahaha

@wax_static

nope sir, this is really a 13"

it's way smaller than my 14" trak snare.

anyways, yeah, it's also my first time to encounter a 10 lug piccolo

no wonder i immediately bought it. haha
