hellghast were you just replacing your stock pickups? i thought it was coil-tap so you can get the single coil-ish sound? so is the 3 way switch the pickup switch? if so, you need another switch to tap the coil, i suggest a push-pull pot so no drilling is required

bali ginamit ko ung tone pot as the coil tap switch. when i roll it to zero naka humbucker mode and malakas parang gain booster. pag sinagad ko naman cya humihina and nagiging single-coilish cya. nakita ko lang tong mod na to eh pero di ko na maalala kung saang site. ang problem ko lang is ung wires kung tama ba yung mga pinagkabitan ko.

hay naku gifmen being cheap wala manlang wiring diagrams na kasama sa packaging. :-D

the key is to find out what PU did it clone and then use the wiring diagram of that PU. hehe.

para sa akin, ayos ang gifmen. :-)

that is something, those two wires that are soldered together is what i use to activate the coils, i usually add another wire to ground with it, but what you're explaining does sound familiar but that was with an active mod board, maybe your putting the wires off phase to thin out the signal,

two wires soldered together out of the box is yung yellow and green so hinayaan ko lang sila soldered parin. yun ba yung pang coil tap sir na sinasabi nyo? yung white wire kasi weak yung signal. yung red naman hot.

maybe i'll just try to mess with it pag sinipag haha babaklasin ko nalang ulit yung assembly.

yes that pre-wired wires is what you use to coil tap, i do imagine what you're trying to pull of here, but your wiring needs  to be rearranged, i can only envision the pre-soldered wires soldered into the tone pot's(no cap) signal out, and  your weak signal wire grounded to the pot, im not quite sure though

ahhhh so yung pre soldered wires is yung gagamitin ko sa pots and yung weak signal wire ang gagawing kong ground? so dalawa na ang ground ko which is the bare wire and the white (weak signal). will try this later.

thanks sir. :-)

sorry bro.. i don't mean to argue.. cool lang.. if you'd spend most of your time sa studio to get a good sound, mas malaki pa magagastos mo in the long run kaysa kung bibili ka ng sariling gamit.. just my two cents..
