hum-hum-hum...
it's amazing how this problem is still here after all these years despite advances in technology.  though there are noiseless pups available already but they are just so few---i guess, the hum is just meant to be.

let's just love it!  hehe.   :-D

"Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickups"

'Classic Strat performance without the noise!

Stick a set of Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickups in your Fender Stratocaster for souped-up, fireball feel and authentic tone in a noise-free design. The Fender mod shop designed these Strat SCN pickups to deliver tried-and-true Stratocaster sound with huge bite and no noise. The bridge pickup has a DC resistance of 11.6K with inductance of 3.8 Henries. The middle pickup has a DC resistance of 6.5K with inductance of 2.4 Henries. The neck has a DC resistance of 6.5K and inductance of 2.4 Henries.

A special combination of traditional magnets and Samarium Cobalt magnetic material delivers incredible dynamic and magnetic response. These pickups pack more than 50 years of Fender tone heritage while giving you absolutely authentic, noise-free Stratocaster sound and feel. This pickup set comes as standard equipment in Fender's American Deluxe Strats.'

Never had a Fender e, and parang gusto kong bumile!  :-D

In my very humble opinion, SCN's plain suck bro. I don't know what it was but when I first tried my American Deluxe V Neck I got so disappointed with the SCN's even with the S-1 switching I immediately took it out and put an EMG DG20 set. The SCN's sounded so dead, it lacked response and was too "cold" for me.
