Title: most versatile hihats thread

I used to own a K hybrid hihat and frankly di ko siya type ehehe di ko gets yung chick sound niya siguro hindi siya suited for all genres of music.. :)

Fave ko dati kasi ang ganda niya tignan,hehe,hangang dun Lang.
Nung sinubukan ko e di ko siya trip,hehehe. Iba yung sound ng old zildjians
Specially the new beats and k/z combination hats. :-D

14 avedis mastersound ako. clean, somewhat chunky, washy

kaya lang tangapin mo na: WALANG HIHAT O KAHIT ANONG CYMBAL NA PWEDE SA LAHAT PARA SA TASTE NG LAHAT

kung may gusto ka na tunog, bili lang ng bili ng hihat para magkaron kang VERSATILE COLLECTION

Currently using 14" Samatya Istanbul hats, for me its a versatile hats

mga versatile hats na nagamit ko so far:

Zildjian A New Beats (YUNG LUMA PLS)
Sabian AAX Stage Hats
Stagg Vintage Bronze (kulang sa volume though)
Sabian XS20 Hats (no joke, pramis maganda to)
Istanbul Samatya
Istanbul Sultan (mejo kulang sa volume pero solid)
Zildjian na 12 inch yung remix. hayop din.
Zildjian K/Z na luma. ganda talagaaaaa huhuhu

yan yung mga talagang tumatak sa tenga ko kasi kahit anong music so far pwede sila gamitin. :)

I own a pair of Meinl Byzance 14" Sand Hats. I can see (hear) them being applied to a wide range of styles. Very versatile. I'm inlove with it. :)

Oo nga sarap sultan hats ng Istanbul,pero volume hirap siya,Tama napansin ko din

Solid advice. Hehe. OT: Swabe ng nabili ko na Stagg CS crash sir Peeves, compliment sa K/Z hats at K ride ko. Hehe.

Para sa akin naman K/Z HATS, MASTERSOUND and New beat hats.

Agree with Sabian xs20 and stagg vb vintage bronze, narinig ko na sila mic'd man or wala, and IMHO, Pridgen's 15" Z3 Giant hats pasok sa versatility choice ko  :drool:

crisp sounding sana eh! lugi lang sa distortion ng mga gitara hahaha then again, swak para sa mga heavy hands katulad ko :D

I've owned only one pair of hats: 1976 New Beats 14" (1220 gms bottom / 780 gms top). I've played all sorts of styles from pop to rock to jazz to avant garde both live and in the studio. I've never felt them to be lacking, and no one has complained about them being out of context. So I guess that makes them versatile.

out of the bat, mejo maingay yung natesting ko. not sweet sounding gayang 90's new beats.

pero IMHO, baka magiba rin naman ang tnog pag na-"luma" na ng onti. try mo rin paps, YMMV. di ko lang talaga type yung bagong new beats.
