hi Squier users!I have this red Squier Strat...problem is that it has no serial no. and as I checked further I found out that its a Squier Affinity series (based on the decal on its headstock). There's no marking where and when it was made/manufactured...hope you can help me guys on "identifying" my Squier Affinity Strat....I forgot I bought it from a japan surplus shop...will post pics later...
AFAIK, Affinities are made in china. and about the serial number, early china squiers have them on stcker labels that are easily removed AFAIK din. hope this helps.
oh I see, so my Squier Affinity is truly made in China...by the way, when you said "early china squier" what is the production year/s of these guitars? and do you happen to know the tone woods they used for these "early china squier" because it was kinda heavy compared to my other Strat...
I have been told that the new strats, made in China are made of basswood.Be well,Doc
oh I see thank you so much Doc for the info...another question regarding my Squier...does it really has only "8" screws for the pick guard? mine has only "8" srews for the pick guard...
maybe its time to post the pics for you to further scrutinize the axe...and for me to explore your point Doc...will have it checked later when I get home...Squier users, MABUHAY!
baka meron jan nagbebenta squire california, ANTIQUE BURST?
