good afternoon sir. i think it would depend on what tone you need and how you would want to use it. i'm also planning to buy an amp and those are the questions i think should be addressed first. i,m planning to procure a marshall mg10kk if its available here.

ayaw ko lang kase sa marshall, basag yung tunog pag natagal. unlike peavey or laney. depende siguro sa magiging pera ko . hehe. laney sana.

I have several practice amps before and in my experience, lamang ang vox tone-wise.

i think brandnew would cost around P6k-P7k or abang ka nalang sa classifieds around P5k lang ata.

i agree.. the vox is a bit crisp and trebly.. that's what i've seen sa Pathfinder ko.. pero i like it for my cleans dahil dun.. sa drive naman, i use a separate distortion box and adjust the EQ there.. naaayos ko naman according to my taste..

oh, +1 pala sa vox pathfinder 15r.. even if you find it "manipis", sobrang responsive ng treble at bass knobs niya.. as in.. 
may i ask kung anong particular model ng Vox ang nasubukan mo dati?

pero para sakin, i won't expect much fatness or meatiness from a small amp na nasa 6k range.. kasi maliliit yung speakers nila.. mostly around 8" lang.. so pag pinagtabi mo sila ng ibang amp with a 12" speaker, pwedeng makapagsabayan sila in terms of volume.. pero mapapansin mo na yung sa may 8", masyadong matulis yung dating ng tunog compared dun sa may 12".. mas malagong kasi pag mas malaki speaker, thus, it adds to the meatiness.. share ko lang..

natry mo na yung gain at 9 oclock tapos naka on yung boost? sounds very fat on that setting.

not sure about the price, but the lower wattage Roland cubes and Microcube are great little amps.

i bought it yesterday from Audiophile Festival Supermall in Alabang    its really worth for a practice amp, 5star for me   

at dun ko nakita ang tunay na kulay ng TS808  wow grabe sarap ng TS808 sa VOX PF.... i'd tried it both on Marshall 50w & Peavey Bandit woahhh

practice amp lang gamit ko ngayon sir. dean markley 10 watts. main distortion ko is sa os2. overdrive and distortion on 1 pedal. para madali i bagay sa kahit na anong amp.
