Logic files to Pro tools
« on: March 01, 2013, 02:50:29 AM »
Hi everyone,

Is there a way to export logic files that would be compatible to pro tools?

Thank you!

What I usually do is bounce/render each track separately to wav files then import it in Pro Tools.

You are right. But have you tried bouncing it as OMF 2? I heard it's a hit or miss when you transfer it to pro tools.

Appreciate the reply.  :)

I wouldn't complicate things much by using OMF. Just bounce to wav or aiff, making sure that each track starts at 00:00:00 and make sure to name them accordingly.
