Pa-help po about image file format
« on: March 04, 2013, 10:28:39 AM »

Dapat ba TIFF or PNG ginagamit ko? TIA  :)

BTW di ako nag bubura ng mga RAW files. kahit na process ko na sila may hiwalay akong back up ng mga RAW ko.

ano po ba gamit mo? Photoshop or Lightroom? usually kasi nagawa ako folder ng mga exported file. so pwede mo pa balikan ung naimport mo na unedited. regarding sa TIFF masyado malaki yun and afaik for large print format/high resu prints un.

gamit ko pala lightroom :) HTH

Thanks sa tip sir.

Photoshop and lightroom (minsan photomatix pag HDR) gamit ko. :-D

Ako naman, I stick to RAW pag merong mga post-process na gagawin sa images, then export to JPEG when I'm done. If ever na meron kelangan habulit na edit, I go back to the original RAW file of that image, edit ulit, then export ulit as JPEG.

When I shoot, I use RAW. I edit my RAW files using Lightroom then export it as TIFF to edit in PS. I then convert my TIFF files to JPG if I want to post it on web or if I'm going to submit a photo in a contest, etc. Pero since sobrang laki ng TIFFs, I only keep yung mga favorite shots ko. :)

RAW and TIFF are loseless files walang nawawala na detail, while ang JPEG are lossy files may nawawalang details kaya pwede mong piliin yung size niya.

kaya pagnageedit use the loseless files

depende, ako i shoot both raw and jpeg. i edit raw shots pag my gusto akong habuling detail/color. jpeg naman pag tingin ko ok na yung color at exposure. lightroom at cs6 gamit ko.

:-D Pero syempre dapat naka back up parin yung RAW.

Thanks mga sir sa tip!
