Pay to Play Productions and Gigs: We all heard of it, weve been a part of it at least one time in our rocker lives...what is your opinion on this practice? Is it still being done today? Should we avoid and not support this practice? Any shady promoter running of with the money he promised you? 

Any leads on productions, promoters  and venues to avoid?? Give the Philmusic Community a heads-up...para maiwasan ang bad gigs..

haha  astig yung pix ah, di ko malaman kung freestyle band, pearl jam and shy drummer  actually mga year 2005-2010 yata nauso ang mga ganyan. pero sa ngayon wala na ko nababalitaan.

sa mga bar naman na saludo ako. Wilfredo's Bar sa may fairview ang the best! kaya lang sarado na sya

dami nga nuon na 'pay to play'. atleast Php100 per band member.

sa ngayon merun pa rin ticket selling pero di na required na magbenta ng tickets. pwede makatugtog ng libre. pagkatapos tumugtog, alis na. bihira pa rin yung mag iinvite lang.

pero kung walang magbabayad ng ticket, wala rin manunuod ng mga gig kundi tayo-tayo lang. wala rin magpapa-prod kasi lugi din sila.

palagay ko para lumaki ang music community dapat tulungan hindi lang ang mga prod pero pati mga banda na ma-promote hindi lang music nila kundi music ng iba din, hindi lang sa ibang banda pero pati na rin sa mga hindi nagbabanda... hindi lang sa mga 'followers' naten kundi sa iba din, hanggang sa mabuhayan na uli ang mga tao at mamulat ang mga mata sa mga bandang may totoong talento at pagmamahal sa kanilang musika.
