new song by The Dawn

I've heard on an AM Station -- Radyo Veritas (846Khz) to be exact - a new song by <b>The Dawn</b> but I forgot the title.  It's good and the lyrics sounded like your freedom to choose (it's in Filipino by the way).

What's up?  Nag-<i>reband</i> ba sila?  If so, when did it happen?  Or is just a special cut in line with the current political crisis here?  Anyway, I don't know their political leanings, heh.

That must be from their new album on Sony. Yes they are officially back together, doing gigs. The lineup for Dawn 2K has two of their guitarists together in the same band:

Jett Panagan - vocals
Carlos Balcells - bass
JB Leonor - drums
Sushi (hmm cant remember his last name) - guitars
Francis "Brew" Reyes - guitars

I just heard one cut, the remake of "Salamat" on NU107 - this was produced by Rico Blanco of Rivermaya.

Balita ko malabo yung Sony, they only gave them one month to do the entire album... I think artists need a little more time to be creative! And That's the Dawn, not some kiddie garage band, why the deadline. Maybe that's why they resorted to a remake.
