Hello! Any feedback on Xiaomi phone? I am looking at Xioami Mi 4i. Matibay ba at worth the money?

cant comment on 'matibay' but ive already stress-tested a Mi 3 before: the phone is really smooth. smooth UI, build and connectivity. the phone once competed on top tier handsets but due to the lack of after sales support from Xiaomi, bumaba ang appreciation ng mga tao sa kanya.

im sure that one has been fixed.
btw, have you also checked other brands? theres Meizu, Elephone, etc.

Thanks pards. Yeah, yan din sinasabi ng mga kakilala ko. mahirap ang after-sales support. tsaka hit and miss din yata. may mga reported lemon units.
Actually the other unit I am considering is Asus Zenfone 2. Budget is more or less 10k sana. I would appreciate other recommendation.

how much is a Zenfone 2? yung lowest variant yata eh nasa 11k pa. ano nga pala main use ng phone aside from call/text/surf? are you heavy on games/camera/multimedia?

madami kang mapapagpilian na mid-tier phones sa 10k na budget mo pre. i suggest storming cyberzone and do not shy out on trying all the units that fit in your budget.
and dont forget about the battery spec. 2k mah pataas na dapat yung bibilhin kung ayaw mong mabitin.

My brother bought a zenfone 2 lazer at sm fairview for 7300 b.new. I think it's worth it considering the specs and price.

go for zenfone paps. ganda performance and price to spec ratio niya. mahina support ng xiaomi, pero I've friend using the Mi3 and they swear by it. better, if not a par with Samsung (nung time na yun)

im not pushing for your zenfone purchase, pero i commend their after sales support.
when i bought a fonepad 7 back in 2014, i had issues with the OS repeatedly unmounting-remounting my microsd. tried everything i could to fix it. was so pissed when it finally corrupted my microsd. i contacted asus' support using the app pre-installed on the phone and the rep i corresponded with was very helpful and i got my phone fixed within a week(via OTA software update). she even followed up asking if i am still having the same problems after the upgrade.
TIP: if you are to contact a support team reporting an issue, make sure you have scoured the internet for all possible fixes. what i did is i detailed all the layman troubleshooting steps that i have tried and also provided links of all the discussion groups that raised the same concern. it became the basis for their group to conclude that the issue is not isolated to just one unit.
