Hey guys! I wish you could help me regarding how to make a pedal board. Items needed, procedure, etc.. I'm planning to make one since it's cheaper to make one by yourself. I'd appreciate any help from you guys. Thanks in advance.

You could try the old laptop bag trick, plus velcro.

pre, try checking out the sticky thread "customized pedalboard". andaming pedalboards dun na DIY.

anyway.. i'll just answer your question.. you'll probably need the following materials:

plywood
aluminum sheets (am i correct?)
detachable hinges
locks
corner guards
screws/nails
paint (?)
velcro/carpet
foam

ayan. pero tignan mo na lang dun sa thread..andun kung pano gamitin yung mga materials. hehehe goodluck!

ako i made mine out of a whiteboard, yung maliit. just added handles and velcro, hehe. instant pedalboard.

hmmmmmmm.... ayaw mo talaga mag laptop bag trick? hehehe..

yung akin, samsonite na laptop bag na inaamag sa attic namin. hahaha. tapos, linagyan ko ng chopping board na japanese (yes, MIJ hahahaha). nabili ko ng 88 pesos sa DIY shop. tapos lagyan mo na alng ng velcro. ok tong idea na to coz madali dalhin at magaan lang. mas magaan pa nga to sa mac ko

mga tsong pare dudes, punta kayo sa HMR along pioneer sa pasig. surplus store sha ng kahit na ano, electronics, etc. etc. madami silang laptop bags for sale, mga pang 15-17" computers. i think less than 500 if not 500 lang. meron din silang pwedeng gawin pedalboards, pero sobrang laki nga lang, hehe.

alam ko yung sangkalan na yun greg, hehe. nakakita ako sa DIY store sa gateway, hehe. ayos din eh. ayoko nga lang yung butas nya sa isang side, hehe. kaya i opted for the whiteboard. pwede mo pa sulatan ng settings, hahaha.

bili ka 1 ft x 2 ft na plyboard sa ace hardware...comes in natural wood or black color.
bili ka stanley drawer handles.
i screw mo sa magkabilang side...parang tray.
bili ka sticky velcro para sa pedals mo

yun na ....

mga 800 to 1200 may pedal board ka na.

ako ill be using the soft case of my KORG AX1500g. It can fit around 4-5 pedals and it doubles as a carrying case and a pedal board. problem ko lang ngaun is wala pa akong pedals. heheh Boss SD 2 palang.

nag DIY din ako sa pedal board ko for may 4 pedals and a power supply. bumili ako ng laptop bag sa SM na 300 pesos tapos white board sa sa national na 100 plus lang. pwede rin paputol ka ng plywood...mas mura pa yan. lagyan mo lang ng velcro and kung ano pa gusto mo. less than 500 lang. ayos na!

just plywood--- plus lagay ka lang ng goma sa ilalim para hindi dumudulas sa surface ng floor...
punuuin ng velcro ang ibabaw and ur on the go na...
tapos kung gusto mo ng cheap bag para sa customized pedal board mo... use the elementary school bag trick made of board paper... ano na nga ba ang tawag doon sa makapal na carton na yun? tapos some handles etc etc you know the drill...

thanks bro. i'm not really that talented when it comes to carpentry, maybe just buy the materials and let others do it. but according to my specs opcors
