we meet every thursday at crosspointe church, just across sm city cebu.. it started w/ just church drummers but the LORD led us to open to non-church drummers as well.. and even other musicians (guitars & bass)..
usually we start 5-5:30pm.. there's bible-sharing, teaching (like note-reading, tuning, new discoveries..), and to cap it off with a drum jam; with 2-4 drum sets (we're still even making noise til' 12midnight)
GOD has really been good because ever since we started last june 2011, every week there's always a new member to join the fellowship.. one of our highlights was when sir jeff lima (mymp) took his time with us.. (nakaka-nosebleed.. haha)
we're hoping / praying for more of our drum heroes in manila to come here -- to educate and inspire us; so that we may also be an inspiration to our fellow musicians here, and be a blessing in Jesus' name

Very Nice Idea... We can have this in Manila.... Basically we just need Venue, Instruments, and a sound-proof place or kung saan pwede mag ingay.. Regards audience.. eto na tayo.. at pag may nag start mag paparticipate na rin lahat yan.. (Regarding food, kahit wala na, or kahit ambagan na lang) This is actually one good way for us to grow as drummers and also to share the Gospel (Word of God) with our other fellow drummer brothers. Plus 1 for spirituality and plus 1 for musicality. Who wants to start this? San kaya pwedeng first venue natin?

Do not forget to always prioritize our Home/Local Churches first, notify your Music/Head Pastor always etc. so the this will not conflict with the "main" schedule and Spiritual/Musical direction our own Churches have in mind.

Welcome sir! i used to play in VCF U-Belt before, pero ngayon hindi na makapagvolunteer dahil madaming ginagawa, hirap ako magmanage ng time(graduating na eh).

Hey guys, may tanong lang ako regarding hihats...ano gamit nyo sa church? 13" o 14"?

bumili ako now ng 13" ZBT hats (mura kasi hehehe) pero we are used having 14" hats for a very long time. Any insights sa mga drummer? hehe i'm not actually a drummer. guitarist kasi ako, but play drums kapag wala drummer namin..hehe

based sa hi hats sa dati kong inaatenan, 13" ang gamit sa drumset nila sa Music Min.
w/c ok cya sa place kc di naman ganun kalakihan, suit for the congregations and events also.

14" ideally for big gatherings and functions.

depende pa din sa drummer kung saan siya comfortable at kung saan siya SATISFIED sa TUNOG dud
