Heard rumors regarding the exercise of the emergency powers to solve the metro traffic.

Opening subdivisions to public traffic.
No parking on busy streets. Not even pay parking.
15 year car age limit.
No garage, no car policy.
Odd/Even policy.
and 10,000 mega bucks if your car broke down in a highway.

rumors lang pero.. hay.. i think it's so strict.

Speaker Alvarez recalls ‘8’ plates

SPEAKER Pantaleon “Bebot” Alvarez has ordered the recall of all the plates of district and party-list representatives in light of reports that cars bearing the special plate “8” were seen in indecent places or being used by crime gangs.
In a memorandum dated Aug. 24 issued by Secretary General Cesar Pareja, lawmakers using the special plate were ordered to turn over the plates to the Office of the Secretary General.
“We have received reports that certain vehicles with Protocol Plate No. 8 have been spotted in indecent places or figured in crime-related activities,” the memorandum read.

Traffic personnel can seize `8` car plates – Speaker

Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez yesterday gave the go-signal for traffic authorities to confiscate vehicle license plates with the number “8,” which were issued to former members of the House of Representatives.

His pronouncement was in line with his recent memorandum directing the “immediate recall of all protocol plates issued during the 16th Congress (from July 2013 to June 2016) and earlier” following persistent reports of abuse by some owners.

Would go for Navarra! hehe mahal nga lang. budget wise I would go for Toyota Hilux

naghilahan sila,
at hinila ng Hilux yung Ranger.
minus pogi points tuloy saken si Ranger

If you are here in the philippines I would recommend that you get a Toyota, Parts are not that hard to come by, pero alam ko yung mga ford na binebenta sa Asia is galing thailand eh well still the same parts are expensive.

LTO to release 6.67 M licenses with 5-year validity

About 6.67 million driver’s licenses made of polycarbonate materials and valid for five years will be distributed starting next month.

Romeo Vera Cruz, Land Transportation Office (LTO) legal counsel, said that their IT provider, Stradcom Corp., will begin the migration of database this month.

“After the migration of database to different LTO offices, we can already release the driver’s license to cardholders by October,” he said.

The migration of database is a process by which all the cardholders’ data will be transferred from the LTO’s database to its 125 offices nationwide, a process which may take some time.

Vera Cruz said that the first migration of database will start in the 39 sites in the National Capital Region and will be followed by the other regions.

Driver’s licenses with the five-year validity are for motorists with pending application before the LTO or those with official receipt, renewal and new applicants, he added.

Pasig’s traffic experiment showing results, exec claims

Two days after the launch of a localized odd-even traffic scheme, the Pasig City traffic bureau claimed success in drastically reducing congestion on up to six busy streets in the city.
Still, Traffic and Parking Management Office chief Alberto Dulay Sr. conceded that while traffic in these areas had eased up, the “experimental” measure may have inconvenienced car owners.
“A little sacrifice is what we need from the public. After all, this is for the benefit of the majority,” Dulay, a retired police senior superintendent, told the Inquirer in an interview on Friday.

Mostly ng gumagawa sa casa eh 3rd party contractors, minsan mga baguhang mekaniko at painter, latero meron lang silang mga sr guys na tell the new ones what to do kaya yung ibang mekaniko nakuha lang ng experience jan tapos mag tatayo ng sariling shop,
My professor sa automotive nag work sa mitsubishi before eh. mas okay pang sa labas mo ipa gawa yung auto mo lalo if body and paint. yung kaibigan ko naka honda jazz na dale yung rear niya hindi nila makuha yung right shade ng metallic gray naka ilang balik siya. He was really pissed dahil ang tagal ng down time ng auto niya,
Ang style pati ng casa eh may isa isang mag ttrouble shoot per part, halimbawa may mag sasasak lang ng obd tester for a certain trouble shooting tapos tatawagin na yung mekaniko para palitan yun.

If i ever get a bnew car eh I would take it sa casa para lang sa warranty pero after nung pms sa labas ko na ipapagawa, maraming loko loko jan.

Iba ibang horror stories at iba ibang car makes :) ford, Honda, Mitsu and Toyota, Never heard of Nissan casa horror stories though pati Kia, and Hyundai

is your car new ba? did they do a complete step detailng? or just waxed it? some guys kasi just do wax and quick detailed to give you that "Detailed feel" matagal mag full detail ng kotse lalo na na yung interior dahil baklas lahat yan pati carpet, they wash din the seats,
Last time I checked sa big berts eh ung full detail nila would take 2 to 3 days to finish (well siguro madami kasing nag papagawa) pero ako personally I think It would take a day or 2, what more sa casa urgh makita ko palang ang pila sa diamond motors na aawa nako sa mga customers nila,

kaya lang ako nag pupunta ng casa to ask the part number ng piyesa na binibili ko, I do this kasi luma ang kotse ko and 9 out of 10 wala silang stock ng piyesa so they always say nalang na sir try nio sa ibang casa that's where I go ahead and ask the specific part number para makahanap ako sa banawe.

Casa operators make money out of part and services. and dami ko ng tropa na nadali jan puro bagito sa kotse. ung recent na isa pa was yung accord niya pinuno yung gear oil as in punong puno. some of them can't really pinpoint the problem. They rely heavily on OBD diagnostics bihira yung matinik talaga

What do you drive ba sir? :) Maraming magaling na mechanics sa labas and parts are waaay cheaper compared to Casa prices. may mga OEM sellers naman ng parts ng nissan sa mga auto supply

I just think that having your car serviced sa casa is too expensive compared sa labas.

There are execption na sa casa ako mag papagawa kahit luma ang sasakan ko one of them is kapag euro or german car ang dinadrive ko at kung naka rx7 which is rotary ang makina
