Age: 39
I've been a drummer since: 1989 continuously until 1996. Got a job, became a weekend warrior. Started playing in a band again in 2000 until 2004. I built a home studio after my last band broke up and started teaching myself how to record drums, and have been recording original material and drum covers since then. I consider myself a student of drumming. There is still so much to learn.

I'm a proud drummer because: It's the drummer that sets the beat and drives the sound of the band.
Additional info about myself: I'm a filmmaker and animator by profession and being around the studio during my down time has helped me a lot in developing an ear for mixing the sound tracks for the animated movies and videos I produce. Most importantly, being a drummer means having rhythm as a second nature. This helps a lot in setting the timing in editing and cutting films.
