Kapatid's LUHA is released early this year. Pinikpikan's KAAMULAN i think is a 2003 release.

I've only heard Flipino and the Rivermaya one, but I definitely thing that the Dongabay album is awesome. I haven't really heard any of the other music so I'm not qualified to judge. Filipino albums on my favorite albums of all time are Flipino, Paghilom by Dicta License, any old Rivermaya music and, of course, Bamboo.

I'm an American busy with my work so the only OPM I get a chance to buy is what my coworkers recommend to me. Pero mabuhay ang OPM!

(Does anybody have a link to some MP3's from some of the other greatest albums of the year so I can give them a chance and see if I like them?)

Sorry, im not oriented with "illegal mp3 downloads" but dude you can try fliptunes.com
So far here's my top 5 list:
1. flipino - dong abay (folk ala Joey ayala but has pinoy punk influences reminiscent of wuds and jerks)
2. fragmented - up dharma down (electronica/funk/soul/jazz/rock seriously, it's hard to define)
3. strangely paired - outerhope (lilting indie pop, reminds you of angels dreaming of a life on earth)
4. talaarawan - sugarfree (reminds me of The Eheads)
5. either Bob Aves, Chillitees or Queso
