Sa totoo lang medyo worried lang ako ng konti.. Cause this concert date is also a concert date of Maroon 5....Sabay na Sabay sila..Sana isa sa kanila nagbigay... Parehas ko kasi silang gusto... Though my heart is with K.G...pero syempre hindi naman lahat pilipino naapreciate ang tugtog nya... sigh

It would be a good idea if Toots Tolentino and Michael Guevarra could be made part of this concert. I am sure Kenny G would find out that we also have world class sax players.

With due respect naman kina sir tots and sir mike, I don't think gagawin nila yun.. sa pagkakakilala ko sa kanila specially sir tots, hindi nila gawain na manapaw ng show ng iba... sabi nga nila sa sax society, dapat supportahan, walang pagalingan...kanya kanyang style naman at genre yan.. wala namang kainan na dapat mangyari...at saka bawal ang pagkain sa loob ng PICC... just enjoy the music...

medyo may kamahalan ang mga tickets, 6,3k ang frontrow seat and around 1,6k ang pinakamura pero dahil dream come true ito para  sa akin, ayos lang...ngayon palang pagiipunan ko na to.

I'm sure his visit here in Manila will bring back the passion of the saxophonists who laid low in playing, as well as encourage others to learn the art of sax playing...

hopefully one day, yung Sax Society of the Philippines naman ang magkaroon ng concert and i hope i'll be good enough to be part of that event!

wow.. gusto q yan ^_^ haha... haha,, 6.3k sa front row gusto q nun.. haha... kaso ksma q asawa q.. bali 12.6k kaming dalawa.. hyaha.. kalahati ng isang cut off q un ah... haha... ang mahal... pero aus lang,,, mapanood q lang idol ko !!! weeeee.... Kahit malayo ka sa stage ang important ay ang sound. Buying a cheap binoculars would be the solution.

I am just wondering if Kenny G is only popular here in PH. If you visit the website: saxontheweb.net and go to the topic Brand Name Players, you will read tons of criticism against him. There are only a few of us whose views are supportive of Kenny G. Anyway, I think others are just envious of his success.

@deyb kos: atty, I am not sure ah.. pero may hinala lang po ako na since medyo iba kasi talaga ang genre nya sa ibang sax players..may halo kasing modern and contemporary music sya... and also if I am not mistaken, he is jews... ewan ko lang kung may kinalaman ang issueng ganun...

weee!!! sulit na sulit and bayad ko!! enjoyed it!! kahit sumakit ulo ko sa puyat kasi may pasok ako ngayon, Ok na OK lang... galing ni Idol,, di ko lam kung bakit ang dami nyang critic, pero he is one of the best!!!  :mrgreen:

deyb kos, ano yung parang chinese song na tinugtog nya kagabi??

Talagang magaling si Kenny G kahit ano pang sabihin ng iba. What is really important is that he is able to relate to what his audience wants. Well applauded ang lahat na songs that he played. I am sure marami ang mag iisip na mag sax sa mga nakapanood sa concert. And may raffle ng saxophone pa sa mga bumili ng cd

I think second set tinugtog ang chinese song

Ang nanalo ay seated at the center. Tinawag pa nga sya at ang kanyang spouse sa stage, afterwhich Kenny played the sax that was raffled and later gave it to the winner.

Truth to tell, this was my first time to watch a good soprano player although Kenny used also his alto for two songs and his tenor for one song.
