the first amp i ever bought was a fender champ 12 man i miss that amp i thought it was crap when i compared it with my trademark60 now i really want it back.Nice tube shimmer and pretty good for practice maybe ill call my friend and buy it back from him 8)

a SAMICK - LA 20 RV...got it 8 years ago...gamit ko pa din hanggang ngayon,at okay pa naman...hehehe!!!though, i have my eye set to a PEAVEY CLASSIC 30....

mga sir, ano opinion nyo with this amp...para kasing eto lang yun ok na tube amp na medyo kaya ng budget eh...thanks...

it'sa  great amp.. i have the Classic 50 and it's a monster.. very good price too..

my first amp was a marshall 15w valvestate of some sort.. i still have it somewhere in storage.,

eto ang una kong amp, PARK G10r. related sya sa marshall corp, ewan ko kung paano pero nakasulat 'by marshall'. bought it about 11 years ago. pagkakaalam ko discontinued na itong amp na to for production. alam ko mas magaganda yung mga amps nyo pero maipagmamalaki ko ito dahil sobrang tibay niya - nalubog na sa baha, natungtungan yung mga pots ng bata kaya bumaluktot, natumba, naputol yung dalawang pots. ngayon, ginagamit ko pa rin sya. yung lumang 8-inch na speaker eh sabog na yung tunog dahil nga nabasa kaya pinalitan ko ng 10-inch na celestion. had it "fine-tuned" professionally by GuitarFix.

a cheap-ass squier... that was my first amp back when i was 12 and didnt know how to play my guitar, and i just wrote some [gooey brown stuff] notes here and there into one certain notebook, i wish i could find that notebook again and have a really good laugh... haha, good times.

mine was a SS 30W amp, i got it assembled when i was yet in highschool('96) on my Electronics subject. it's been 9yrs now and yeah it's still roaring.

but the first amp i bought was the Peavey Classic 30.

unang amp ko was a guyatone pedalboard  :roll: teka tama ba to?

high school pa ako nun, bigay nung electrician ko na friend, pinambayad daw sa kanya nung may ari nung jam studio,  di ko alam na pedalboard/travel amp  pala  cya kinalas ko yung amp tapos  gumawa ako ng cabinet, yung pedal board tinapon ko na lang :oops:

my first amp.......now it's my son's amp.

It served it's purpose because I didn't know anything how beautiful tube amps are compared to s.s.......now I'm all tube...no turning back.

RJ rage amp bought this way back 1997 hehehe tunog pang tulay waaaahhhh nagtataka ako ang ganda ng tunog sa loob ng mall descent pro nung inuwi ko na dheng tunog pang namamalimos must be the reverb of the room...

Ako lumang solid state na rickenbacker bass amp.  May nagbigay kay ermats kaya pinadala nya sa akin sa Pinas.  Tapos nilagari ng uncle ko yung third prong nung AC plug.  After that, yung electric guitar ko, naging electric talaga dahil nagka-ground.   :(

Oi pareho tayo ng first amp bought it back in 1993 along with my first electric guitar, yung ala Satch/Ibby yung itsura. the amp and the guitar are still with me buhay pa ang dalawa 13 years after.  8)

Same here bro. Sarap gamitan ng DS-2 yun. Yung sa akin kasi may guitar input, diretso dun sa EQ section nya kaya nakukuha ko yung scooped mid sounds (medyo bilog nga lang ng kapiranggot kasi 5-band lang yung EQ e) tapos pagpindot sa Mega Bass switch, lufet ng low end...

first (and current) amp ko ngayon is a cheapo dean markley 15watter. hehehe... i just started with electric guitars kasi, used to play acoustic exclusively. hopefully, next week makuha ko na yung roland microcube ko.

first amp ko was a 15W Matrix by Kaman. sabog sabog ang tunog, kahit clean parang sinaksak sa karaoke hehe.. tinambalan ko pa ng P1.8k Rocker "superstrat" na isang gamit lang ng whammy bar, ang layo na ng pagkadetune haha :)

My first amp was a DIY. My kuya had a spare car stereo speaker. What I did was I asked the carpenter who was doing repairs on our house to spare me some recycled plywood and make me an open-back cabinet.

Then, I went to Raon and bought a 10 watt IC type amplifier, some power supply parts (tranny, rectifiers, cap and plug) and a microphone preamp. Tied them together and ta-da. All in my out of pocket costs were very small, about P200 at the time (that was in the 80's). It worked and we were able to use it in practices here at home, along with some other DIY gear like my first  distortion, flanger/chorus boxes (alexan and tanioka).

In hindsight, a microphone preamp is not suited for guitar as its typical input is 600 ohms...too low for the impedance of guitars. If you wanna do that, just pull out the input shunt resistor and replace it with a 1 Megohm resistor.

My first amp was those really small 9V battery powered Marshall "half stacks". Hehehe... really cute.  Now they have "full stacks" of those and I've seen tweed Fenders as well.  I wish they had a small Peavey 5150 of those things!!!! :)  Since I don't have the real thing.

Ang first amp ko nabili ko sa raon. "Roto" ang brand, 15 watts.

    Ang lakas nang humm pero since first amp ko iyon nagtagal dn ng 2 yrs sa akin. Transistor amp with no efx, no gain, no reverb. parang mic input ng karaoke ang dating.

    Then my second amp was a rage amp. 20 watts with gain and distortion. Napabili ako no'n kc napanood ko sa rjtv 29 ang commercial nila.

    Right now naibenta ko na cla pareho and i'm contented with my guyatone 50 watts tube amp, and my fender amp nabili ko sa pier.

nabili ko $3,999.99...wala ako magawa sa pera so punta ako US,bili amp at nag kape-kape sa US..den balik Pinas...un. 8)  8)

Rage Amp 15 Watts (1997 i think). Traded it to JB Music during their Trade-in promo for a Laney Audiohub 80 after 20 years.  :-D

when I started, I plugged into an old JVC cassette player..then some karaoke boxes.. my first amp was a 60watt CRATE made in USA pa mga bagay bagay.. sa RJ Alimall Cubao namin binili ng tatay ko. mga 1994 siguro... its still with me, and it still works.. some scratchy pots but just a spray of contact cleaner all good..

its no JX man. it was... ok I guess? back then I only had a Fernando 15 Watt and Orange Crush 15 to compare this with, and I honestly preferred the Orange. the Yamaha sounds sterile.

but the JX Series tho, I really liked those.

haha compared to my fender amp the craze isnt as boomy though.. haha .. Im planning to sell my 2 old solid states (crate/fender) to fund a nice new tube amp sana... upgrade for the next musical chapter ..hehe

Fender Champion 25W yata yun. Gamit sa church. Pero yung akin Fender DSP 65W. Parang ganun. Benenta ko at pinalitan ng Leney Cub10 :D

I really miss this amp. Bloody 200 watt TH200 with matching 4x12 is LOUD for apartments.
Thank goodness for that attenuator but still.
