« on: February 21, 2013, 11:52:41 PM »
Astig sa features, same AF as the D4!!??
Ano na naman kaya magiging issue nito?

Yung mga specs nya pang full frame kaya lang nasa DX body.

Lets see the features that i like about it...
-no low pass filter
-mic input
-headphone jack
-better weather sealing than the D7000
-51 focus points

Im thinking getting this and keeping the D90 for I dont need to spend that much for the D7100. That way ive got two cameras fitted with different lenses.

I tried the D7000 recently with my old 50mm 1.4 manual focus pang-harabas lens....my jaws dropped. Ive been using the D90 For 3 years now no joke still a great cam but definitely natural for me to upgrade to the D7100 price and features wise.

Insane AF specs priced on the DX range  :-D

Ive got my trinity of lenses covered first and for a weekend Fred like me I dont have any business spending the dough on FF unless i want to kill my guitar gear fund for the next 3years.

hahaha guitar fund pla ayaw mawala hehehehe ako inalis ko na muna fund ko sa drum accesories ko hehehe saka na ako babalik sa pag ddrums hehehe focus muna ako dito hehehehe anyway back to topic yes game changer sa DX format ang D7100 especially inalis ang  optical low-pass filter ng D7100 okey sya for landscape more details especially sa 24pixels nya kya mas magiging detailed sya  and Focusing capabilities is good as well kht sa singit ng view finder nakaka sagap
its funny may friend ako kinukulit ako mag D7100 tapos sya din bibilin din nya yun kht canon user sya

What lens you using, any pics? Dynamic range is what im looking for with this cam pero malupit D600 dito against D7100 especially in shadow detail. Problem is mas okay AF ng D7100 compared to the D600.

Decisions.....?

sa dynamic range parang lamang pa rin ang d600 ng kunti pero sharpness lamang naman ang d7100. Pic of my d7100 you mean or a picture taken from it?

much better to try them both first then decide :) reviews will help pero still asa sayo pa din yan kung ano talaga hinahanap mo sa isang cam. besides, its still the guy behind the viewfinder that takes pictures :)

between the d600 and the d7100 - i will hold of for now.

almost bought a d600 a few months back. talagang babayaran ko na lang sa counter pero nagdalawang isip ako. that same day kasi lumabas yung d7100 and i got to test it first hand sa b&h photo NY. natigilan ako kasi after ko silipin sa ipad yung pics from both cameras - using 50mm 1.4 - i cant see any difference.

way before that, i sold my d90 because after using the fuji x100, the d90 cant compete in IQ and dynamic range. it was a 2-year gap bago nalamangan ng point and shoot yung d90. but what i've seen with the d600 and d7100, i think kaya pa mag improve ng DX sensors in a shorter period of time.

i'll wait one more year for the next DX body to come out and i'll probably get that instead of FX. yung pera kong nasave from buying a d600 will go to the best DX lenses instead.

Had this far a week now. So far so good. I cant find any weakness on it. Really a better version of the already solid d7000.

I bought a d7100 body and 35mm 1.8.  The 51pts autofocus is amazing!

Im still hoping to win a good deal on tokina 11-16mm from ebay.
