TAMA Drums and Hardware thread

    Warlord Spartan Kit, ang ganda talaga and for sure mahal ito dahil nasa

limited edition sya.. and one more thing hindi sya wood, it's a stainless steel kit,

palagay ko mabigat ito at yung price. i dont know kung makakapagpasok kami

ng ganitong series, dahil collectors edition. well maganda talaga sya, pero i dont

think na magugustuhan sya ng ibang kapwa drummer natin. yung iba kasi

hinahanap parin yung tunog ng kahoy, maple, birch, bubinga etc. pero i think it

will sound good also, hindi naman maglalabas ang TAMA ng hindi maganda ang

sound quality. it's all in the process and quality control.. Have you guys seen

the Starclassic Bubinga Natural Cordia astig noh? baka isama ko yan sa orders

ko... number 1 on my list.. hopefully maipasok ko... hehehehe.

What sizes do you mostly prefer? Can you give us a comment on this?

Hey bro Carlo!  All my current snare drums are wood-shelled, kaya sa next snare purchase ko, gusto ko metal shell naman.  Among the Metalworks snare drums, I prefer the 6.5"x13" model (ST1365BN).  I like power piccolo snare drums, and I think this model would be a nice contrast to my 5"x13" Tama Artwood Maple snare.  I think this will work well with my band's style of music.

And if possible, sana magpasok din kayo ng mga snare drum accessories, like Tama Starclassic snare wires, hoops, washers, etc.  Sige balitaan nyo kami bro.  Thanks!

Recently I've been canvassing for a new primary snare and I think I fell in love at first sight at the Tama Artwood 13x6.5 Golden Sunset Finish ehehehe... though for now insufficient funds ahahah! and I agree with sir drumster on the tama snare drum accesories... I need snare wires! show some love for 13" users! ehehehe...

@ master drumster.... i'm just going to ask about the superb superstar kit that you got at audiophile, you mentioned you got it around 49k and does it hve like a packaged cymbal set or is just the kit itself + the hardwares which have 1 straight and 1 boom stand?

I think wala. Pearl VLX is priced at 47K sa JB. And Superstars are the Visions' counterpart sa Tama. Kit + HW lang sa palagay ko (just like the Visions package). Kasi kung may kasamang Paiste pa yun, aba'y lahat tayo ay bibili na ng Tama!

Yes, it's just the drums and the hardware.  No pre-packed cymbals.

hmmm... so tama is the most expensive one among my choices cuz im planning to gas up for a kit and if any case that would the last one hehehe my choices are tama superstar, pearl vision or a gretsh catalina maple... but i really like the tama superstar specially the white one hehehehe

    Ser, Maruch thanks for the post.. Well as of now regarding Paiste Cymbals i do have a recommendation for my head manager for Paiste TWENTY series and some other models like RUDE, 2002, signature series... Hopefully magkaroon kami once na maapprove yung mga request ko for cymbals. and regarding to your question about hyperdrive tom of tama kits. Yes hyperdrive tom is for TAMA superstar and Starclassic series.. and i have already an order for superstar hyperdrive maybe late this year will be available here at audiophile.. thanks...
